Weight-Loss December 7lb. Challenge

Weight-Loss
I know but, I was losing steadily. Usually 2-3 pounds per week. In all fairness to myself though, I didn't managed to get to the gym for over a week since the gym I use is the military gym on base and my boyfriend is out to sea so I had no way of getting on base. I did walk a lot though :)

I get to go to the gym tomorrow when he comes home. Thanks goodness, I'm having withdrawals for working out :p WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Hey All,

just wondering how your all doing as far as losing the 7 pounds? Hopefully you guys are losing and feeling good :)

I'm still losing pounds, PHEW! I'm almost in the 150's! YIIIIPPPPPEEEEEE!!!!!

I am pleased that you are still losing Joey.

Saturday 15/12/2007 12st 5.6 lbs i.e. 173.6 pounds
so I am 4.6 pounds down so far this month.

Great job Margaret! Your going to ace the 7 pounds, no worries!

I have promised myself that I will be good over Christmas so I'm not expecting to gain......but, then again I know I'll be having some booze on New Year so that could be bad :p

Thanks Angel!

And don't worry, you will be back down there very soon. What is your long term goal weight? Stick at it. :)

Hope all you people are doing well on your weight loss "adventure"!

I'm down to 123.2lbs.

4 more lbs to go for the month. It still seems daunting, but losing 2 lbs per week is not impossible either.

Well done for getting into the 150s Joey.
Also, you're doing great Misty - 2 pounds per week is perfectly possible - but is going to be a challenge in the next 2 weeks.
Good luck to both of you.

Can I still join in even though we are half way through december?

since the start of December I have lost 1.5lb. Hopefully more tomorow when I get weighed in class.

Reposting to bump. :)

12/1/07 = 152.4 / 150.2 (trend / scale).
12/8/07 = 150.4 / 146.0 (trend / scale).

12/22/07 = 148.4 / 145.6 (trend / scale).
12/29/07 = 146.1 / 141.4 (trend / scale).

Loss so far: 6.3 / 8.8 (trend / scale).

It is great that you are hitting new milestone lows Phoebe. It is marvellous that you have got your BMI to "normal".

It is nearly the end of the month. How is everyone else doing?

I have a loss that I am happy with - but my weight is up today.

Only time will tell what my loss will be on Monday 31st December.

Finish Weight 31 December = 12st 0.2 lbs i.e. 168.2 pounds (total lost 10 pounds)

Total Lost in December = 10 pounds

My weight loss is always skewed.
I am delighted by my overall weight loss.

In the past few days I have got into the 160s and have brought my BMI to under 30. I am now officially "overweight" after spending the past twenty years as an "obese" person (the majority of this time I was very definitely morbidly obese).

This is particularly pleasing since December is a difficult month for weight loss.

12/1/07 = 152.4 / 150.2 (trend / scale).
12/8/07 = 150.4 / 146.0 (trend / scale).
12/15/07 = 149.3 / 149.0 (trend / scale).
12/22/07 = 148.4 / 145.6 (trend / scale).
12/29/07 = 146.1 / 141.4 (trend / scale).
12/31/07 = 145.2 / 141.4 (trend / scale).

For a total loss in December of 7.2 pounds by trend and 8.8 by scale. More than I anticipated losing, either way!

I failed :(

I'm disappointed to say I lost 5 pounds however, in all fairness, I'm probably carrying excess water weight since 'that time of the month' is here and I usually carry about three pounds of water weight then.

Congrats to all who lost ANY amount of weight but, a big congrats to those who lost the seven pounds or more!!!!

You did *not* fail! You lost 5 pounds at a time of year when the average American gains 5. You did awesome! :)
