Good news

Did awesome in the scrimmage; got a tackle on D-line and almost a fumble recovery. On O-line I helped give the QB plenty of time to throw (with the exception of a drive play that got blown up)

Bad News

I broke my finger :/ . Broke the finger next to the pinki on my left hand. I'm left handed as well so I can't write either. This is gonna be a pain in the ass.

I don't know whats gonna happen on Monday's practice. I will play if the Trainer doesn't tell me otherwise.
 
nvm, i just slept for like 16 hours. feelin good again.
 
Got work tommorow. wander what the managers will do considering I have a broken finger lol.

I'm definetely practicing Monday...I just can't let the trainer catch me otherwise he will say I can't play.

Anyway, I tihnk I iwll do bill starr's 5x5. i'll taper down to maintenance over a week, and then into a cut. It's much easier to be in a deficit during school I found out.

Quit screwin' around, man. Get yourself a nice in-season program (like just doing me upper and lower, around your schedule) and eat good. Make time. :violent:
 
Dude, WSFSB3 is out of season. In season is WSFSB1. The recovery is better.

Also, I assume you aren't playing much with your broken finger? That means the energy you'd have playing can be allocated to lifting and getting stronger for when you get back. You seem to have a habit of straying from a program when it starts to work for you.

I have played every practice with the broken finger; problem is finding time to workout anymore. Usually I have time on the weekends but I'm so banged up from a weeks worth of practice that I do nothing at all.

I have no school Friday (game is being played tommorow) so I'm gonna rest up Friday and try to workout Saturday.

Don't know how to lift during the season. I'm assumming a full-body-workout but I don't know how heavy I should go or what rep schemes to use.

We won our game today. I didn't get one play.

We are 2-1 right now and I still have yet to play in a regular season game; even for 1 play. I did good in the scrimmages too :/

-Pretty Good workout; despite not working out much my bench press hasn't lost any strength; though I feel like my shoulders got weaker.

Also ..I am no longer using my splint for my finger; it seems like its healed...but its still crooked?
 
Tommorow is Light Practice
Friday is Game.

We are currently 2-1. Our game this week is gonna be tough because we beat them last year in the final seconds.
 
I finally got my chance to play in the game. I play D-line and the coach said I have been busting my ass all week in practice so he put me in on 3rd down to rush the QB since he says I'm pretty quick.

Well we were in a eagle formation...so I lined up against the Guard (which was correct) but the linebacker moved me over to the outside tackle (and I listened because maybe they called an audible or something) and once the ball snapped I slipped in the mud :/

Coach took me out after 1 ****ing play. He said "wow son I give you an opportunity and you don't even know the plays" WHEN I LINED UP CORRECT THE FIRST ****ING TIME.

****in linebackers. :/
