Last night at 10:00 PM I realized I was gonna have to wake up at 6:00 AM (when I usually go to bed at 2:00 AM) so I took some Niquil and that stuff knocked me out! :)

So I got a good amount of sleep. Went to the 2-a-day and did alright. It was awesome; I have been waiting for this for a long time.

Plus I got to pound me some freshmen who think they can talk back to the coaches; dumb mother****ers; muahahahah

Right now I have an ice pack on my left foot; on the front. I hurt it a little blocking today but I think I will be alright.

And my diet has stayed perfect since Monday. Gonna go eat some turkey and heal up. I have work tommorow :/

the football players here tell me that sometime in the season, they have the freshman or underclassmen line up at the edge of a steep hill (like 75% incline) hold their arms up and close their eyes. Then the seniors are called and and are allowed to tackle the freshman of their choice.

Tommorow I plan on lifting weights before football practice. Again all upperbody and the 4 hour practice will take care of my legs. I have to stretch more.

I have officially gotten threw 1 week of no junk food. Awesome :)

Will check weight and waist measurements tommorow. I'm pretty sure my waist measurement is gonna jump though because the first time I checked (last monday) I was bloated so I couldn't grab as much skin during the skinfold. So we will see how that goes ;)

Practice again tommorow.

Tommorow is our first day with full-pads. Past practices have been just helmets (which mine is tight as **** btw) and shoulderpads.

So hopefully some tackling drills tommorow and no injuries...

As for eating clean, still going strong.

Today was so rough on my body...

No food in my house. So all I had was whey protein before practice. I lifted weights before practices also.

I need to rest bad. I have school tommorow and a 3 hour practice. I was getting messed up in practice...I had absoluetely no energy.

Jman, you should just hit up some fast food places. Not eating is worse than eating crappy when you need calories.

yeah guess what happen today. Team Dinner = Food all over the place = I'm hunger as hell = I broke my streak today.

I feel so much better right now. I thought I would be mad that I broke my streak; but I was literrally depriving myself of calories and energy

I found that I can get away with it because of 4 hour practices EVERYDAY. But I still gotta eat clean MOST of the time.

Today I felt so much better at practice; I wasn't all tired and out of breath.

I went about 10 straight days of grueling practices and less then 50 carbs each day!

I had my first scrimmage game today.

On Offense I am 2nd string Guard, On Defense I am 3rd string Defensive Tackle (no End because we run 3-4)

Guard was Awesome! (recently moved from tackle to guard). The opposing team was running a 4-4 and I was blowing this kid backwards. And he was like 6'3 250 pounds. I couldn't believe it myself. Every play I was destroying him. He had to be SOFT or something...It was like he was just standing up and taking it.

On Defense I got into the backfield and tackled the running back behind the line on a draw play. Man that felt good :)

As for guard I will probably remain 2nd string but I have a feeling I'm gonna move up on the depth chart on DT. I felt really good today; usually after games or scrimmages I feel disappointed in myself but now its like hard work is paying off ;)

Yeah I find when you stop doing chinups/pullups you lose your relative strength pretty quickly.......

Tommorow is our second scrimmage. I'm getting lots of reps on Defensive Line because I have been doing great this week (practically unblockable, got a few sacks and tackles) and I'm starting on the Kick Return team as a front man blocker.
