52 degrees this Saturday...it was -5 yesterday when I woke up. I think that calls for a celebration. I shall drink 100 proof **** bourbon and get nuts.

We've been sub zero for the whole month of January. I'm ready for this thaw too. You can smell it in the air today.
 
I need your help Karky boy; I have to conduct a review of Scandinavian TV advertising for 2008. Which brands make the best ads in Norway usually?

Also, and Fins, Danes or Swedes are very welcome to give me some ideas for good TV adverts from their countries, especially if they’re young Scandinavian ladies :D

VG - a Norwegian newspaper. They usually make good ads.

Not at all. I choose the ads based on what I imagine the people are probably saying. A little like watching a film in a foreign language without subtitles and just making up your own script.

I selected a Norwegian ad in a global category shortlist earlier this week on the basis of what I imagined the person was saying :)
If the script writer was half as funny as me then I'm sure the ad was hilarious as I was pissing myself

There's the VG commercial with the northener in the sauna, it's not from 2008 though.

The nice people of Sweden broadcast ads in English so that made my job easier. VG & Djuice had ads in my shortlist along with this one for Norge Blindeforbund

To be honest though, I was expecting for more boobs out of Scandinavia
