Complete B.S Thread

The Pacific Islands exercise harsh laws towards drug offenses dealing with marijuana. In Brunei, they put you to death for exceeding X amount of trafficking. The same may be true in The Philippines.

Still, lot's of dope around. And that was in the 70's, the laws weren't so touch because countries were only starting to realize the connection between drugs and organized crime. I really don't know. But I'm almost sure that Apocalypse Now was mostly filmed under the influence.

With the additional scenes on the Redux version, this movie is even more psychedelic and psychotic. I LOVE IT!!!!

Yep. Awesome movie. One of the best movies I've ever seen.

It might have been the coffee that's grown around there. Has anybody ever had hallucinations from Saigon coffee? I have. I swear the ground they grow it on still has Agent Orange in it ... that stuff is f ucking brutal.

It's worst than you think... It's the Ho chi Min communist Red Agent! Developed by the USSR and planted by the KGB as part of a big plot against the Western Bloc. They knew and encouraged CIA's introduction of locusts in South America to ruin the coffee crops of the red countries there. After that, there was only going to be Saigon coffee, filed with Red Agent calmly palnted by the KGB.

The thing that went wrong was the failure to assassinate Fidel Castro. Moscow was expecting that and the Bay of Pigs to work out for the US, so the population could regain a taste for latin american things, like coffee..

That's why there is an embargo on cuban cigars. After Rosewell, the CIA gained intel from the aliens that the Eastern Germany Stasi was thinking of following the KGB plan for Agent Red, but on Cuban Tobacco.

As a conterplot, Regan approved a plan that would crush the Stasi foundations. Using construction materials suppliers as a front for CIA operations, they sold poorly baked bricks to Erich Honecker's regime. That led to the fall of the Berlin Wall and, in a domino effect, the demise of international communism.

Little did Regan knew that Carlos, the Jackal, gave advanced intel to the soviet powers about this plan, and Honecker planted the Red Agent on that very same Berlin wall. With all the dust scattered around by its fall, a hole in the Ozone lair was opened, allowing a secret brain washing bean from a moon base to affect people all over the globe and subconsciously plant Marx speeches on our minds.

That's where Greenpeace and all the liberals today come from. The next part of the plan was to be executed by Vladimir Putin, secretly still a KGB senior agent. The votes for US president were to be arranged in Florida so that Bush could rise to power, triggering the sleeper subconscious command to revolt against capitalism and bringing a thousand years Reich to Earth.

Thats right... KGB, CIA, Stasi... thats all a big Nazi plot, kept going by Hitler's Odessa, and covered up by a taking over of Berlin by the Soviets that never happened.

Hitler is behind it all, and he's still pretty much alive, looking for a time to return from his hide out base, a submarine base prepared many years before in the form of the Titanic.

Now you know the truth and I'm sure you can check out on the internet for it's accuracy...

Chinese moving city... I want one for myself, how about you?

No idea how is it supposed to move but still, it's pretty cool!

Man, this is BS... got some sort of hacker atack last tuesday, lost my hard drive with 8 years of stuff in it and they managed to get my credit card numbers and codes. Got a call from my bank on Thursday asking if I had placed an order on some site for 1400€...

Thats what you get from being a cheap SOB and using only free antivirus that acts only after something is already inside your PC. Lesson learned...

What do you reckon is the best anitvirus out there? I was thinking of Avira, been reading great stuff about it....

AVG works for me

Well, I like AVG better than Norton... Norton turns your PC into a mess, it's a paim to unistall if you ever want to... Also had it on my laptop, the paid version. Missed a couple of threats that AVG Free edition found on it's first round...

Avira is it.

Also, get firefox, and set it up properly. Using internet explorer is like inviting known thieves into your home and then going for a long walk.

Thanks for the opinions! I haven't decided yet. Doesn't really matter as I'll have to wait for my new credit card to buy the antivirus....

A lot of tech websites talk about Avira as being the best but I had it when the attack happened. Was also using firefox, althouh the old firefox 2 version... I think it was something planted in my PC as I remember getting a warning from the antivirus saying its defenitions were 3 days old. It usually updates itself daily, so something was blocking that...

oh well, that's what surfing for porno gets you...

Yeah but did you have Noscript, Adblock Plus, Adblock Filterset. G Updater, Flashblock, CS Lite and Greasemonkey with the relevant scripts?

Avira free doesn't have any anti-mal/spy/etc.-ware capability, so it wasn't likely to do you any good in such a situation, anyway. There's no sense blaming it. Unless you meant you had Avira Premium, which I am assuming is not the case. For now I would pick up Comodo's BOClean (footprint: protection ratio is very good!) for anti-malware protection, get the latest version of the free Avira and learn how to optimize your router and/or firewall settings, if you haven't done so.

Also would download AdAware and let it and Avira do a boot scan. Actually if I were you I'd back up everything not on the system partition (you do have a separate partition preferably on a separate physical drive, for your OS, yeah?) and then wipe it. Make sure you have all the necessary drivers, utilities, software, keys, blah blah blah and such first, though, or you may find yourself up **** creek.

I had spybot and adware, along with Avira... But I can't access my old drive, it won't even be recognized by BIOS. The system won't even boot if I have it plugged as salve. There's some clicking noise also, so I'm assuming it's phisycal damage. When this all mess happened, the desktop was on but I was away. It was complitly frozen so I don't know... I'm guessing it was someyhing like those anticopy dvds that turn off Ultra DMA (?) from your optical drives, making them overwork until they break (lost 2 dvd burners because of something like this on Silent Hunter 3 DVD)....

I'm keeping the hard drive so I can look into it on my next holidays... a year from now... :sad2:

Well, thanks Focus!

True story, I've never used an anti-virus program. And have never had any computer problems of that nature.

That's ridiculous, re: the drive thrashing anticopy. DRM in general is retarded. -_- I have an idea, merchant population: how about instead of being short-sighted and dumb you create an anomaly in the history of human innovation by getting with the times voluntarily, you silly ****s.

Wow.. you're way behind on the times. I lost norton somewhere around Windows 98..

Well Im not 12 yrs old so I dont know all about the cpu. :mrright:
