I looked it up, Michigan does have AP classes!

I had a 4.bla-bla too but without the AP's I think I had a 3.8. Whatever...who cares. High school was horrible for me too so Derwyddon, I admire you for breaking free. I can't understand how anyone could love high school (e.g. my freakin' boyfriend). Luckily, college was much better. :beerchug:

I had AP's and the 4. blah blah also but I agree, what was the whole flippin point? I'm married with 3 kids working in a job I could have done if I'd flunked high school and I get paid pretty darn well! High school was dramatic for me and I fear the day my kids go through those years. yuck.
College was AWESOME

I loved highschool I was at the height of my soccer career got selected for the national league and had a contract to play semi pro and pro within 5 years.

I broke my ankle got mixed up with the wrong crowd and that was the end of that!

I skipped through 35 pages of responses so i don't know how we ended up here but it seems as though everyone is commenting on school and how good it was...Personally, for me i absolutely hated high school and i think i'm one of the few people who doesn't miss it...OK, so i guess i get a little nostalgic looking back on a few things but for the most part i really didn't like it....I just finished my first year of college and i can say without a doubt that 2007 has been the best year of my life...There's many factors that played a part in this but there will probably be a "looking back - 2007" thread that someone will create as we edge closer to '08. So i'll wait for that one.

Oh yeah, i almost forgot

ah don't worry after first year it all starts going down hill rapidly (well it did for me, cause the 2nd year drop out rate in my course has the highest drop out rate of my college course in Ireland or at least it did 9 years ago)

My course was only suppose to go for a year but i was too busy partying and being lazy so i failed a few classes...thus have to go back for another semester (I.e 'til June '08)...It should be an easy few months because i'll only be doing about half the amount of work than if i was going back full time...
