I have an xbox 360. It's got one red ring of death whenever I try to play it. And my ethernet cable doesn't reach far enough so I need to buy a wireless adapter if I want to play on Live.

Different numbers of red rings in different places mean different things. In my case, I have one red ring in the bottom right corner. That means I have a hardware malfunction. Yeah, I've been meaning to take it back. Someday...
