I'm finishing up an essay on a critical essay on Wuthering Heights.. dagnit.. any of you have any relation to psychoanalysis? Some of Freud's theories are really far fetched and out thereIMO
They sure are. But if you think about his time period, they make sense.

Haha, the joke was that you said you are what you eat, and I said I eat awesome girls, and therefore I am one. It was poorly executed, even in English. And gimme a break, I haven't had French since high school!
And even though I grew up in a Spanish-speaking community....mi espanol es...no bueno...but I can order a cheeseburger!

how would they make sense if you think about his time period? are you saying they were true then, but not now. I realize people believed him in his time, but that doesn't make it make any more sense to me..
In one of my favorite books the main characters discuss Freud, that he had an insight into the human mind, but his theories were too circumspect. He didn't use any methods of accepting or rejecting hypotheses, no quantitative data.
