STARTING DATE : 3 OCTOBER 2005 - 90.3kgs
DAY: 108 - 20 JANUARY, 2006 – 60.95kgs
Hi all of you absolute winners,
It was great to read all the thread from the 14 up to now, so I have typed this part in last after reading everything. I would like to say to anyone having trouble in the supermarket that next time you go in make a point of walking up to those chocolates and really have a good look at them, pick up your favourite ones and turn the pretty picture over from the front of the pack and now have a good look at the nutrition value they stamp on it. While your looking at the calorie content per serve and make sure you note that bit because it isn’t for the whole block it is just for a few pieces, that will be about our whole calorie intake for the complete Cohen’s diet day. Now think, if you were to eat that serving your body is going to absorb it like a sponge right onto your BUM, HIPS OR THIGHS. Go on, put it back, it’s not that you can never have it again, just for now and then when you have reached your goal it will be your reward to then have a bit without feeling guilty. The guilt feeling just isn’t worth it, give yourselves a chance, try it, it works. Be strong and persistent the feeling you will get will be a big enough reward for now. I always have a biscuit tin full of lovely things sitting right in front of the TV for the family and have never once opened it because I know when I weight myself the following day I want to see a result of what I have done and not what a piece of stupid chocolate has done. BE STRONG……Sorry if I’ve been harsh but I really want you to think about it before you pop it into your mouth…..
CHEZ & DANPOLL: Where are you, I know your out there, so how about dropping all of us a line.
KASEYSMUM: We haven’t heard from you since September, are you o.k.?
RJM & IMR: Hope you can hop on again one day so we can see how you are both going now. Haven’t heard from you both for ages.
HEALTHYMUM: How are you going and are you back on the wagon. Just remember your personal goals:
1 - 90kgs by 31/1/06 (not long to go now, are you on track)
2 - 85kgs by 20/2/06
3 - 80kgs by 13/3/06
Just remember if you stick to it, it will be over sooner rather than later. Don’t even think about eating any other foods than what we are allowed, sort of think of it as a petrol in a car, once it’s full it spills out except with our body, once it full our tank keeps expanding. You can do it and I hope you have been going well as I haven’t had time to get on the forum much. Keep up the great work.
PDF: That is an absolutely excellent weight loss 4.95 kgs in 2 weeks, it is just dropping off, congratulations. Don’t worry what the consultant said to you. I love your goal setting, that’s a great idea, and it also gives you plenty of time to save up for that special occasion. I mean, even if you were to put only $1.50 away a day and it took 6 weeks to loose 10 kgs then you would have $63.00 to spend on yourself, great thinking on your behalf.
LINDA717: Sounds like you are going great 6 lbs in 6 days is wonderful. That’s 2.7 kgs to all us Aussies. How are you finding it and have you settled into the plan, it isn’t hard once you get use to it and then once that part is done we then begin to try and get a little creative with the foods to make them a little more interesting.
LISAB: Hope your right back on track and doing well again, it is best just to put the past behind you and stick to it and just get it over and done with. YOU CAN DO IT…..
MYSHY: You really make me laugh, first of all the supermarket and now a bunch of cuties in a car giving you the eye, your self esteem must be going through the roof. I bet you are still smiling over it, that’s just great…..I also picked up my re-feed and for the exact same reason I am not going to start it until I hit 59kgs. It looks like you eat so much, I mean I am totally comfortable with my portion size now. The consultant told me if you can’t finish it then don’t but isn’t that defeating the purpose of the re-feed and the completion of the program?
PEACHES: I read your post from the 14 feb, so I am a little late but I hope the hunger has stopped now. It won’t last too long because your body will adjust to the food. Just make sure you have the fruit and crispbreads for that specified 10 day period and try to choose your meals that add up to the most grams. So for example in meal plan 1 you may have 100g chicken and 110g vegies or 120g beef and 115g vegies, so choose the beef on in this case. After the 10 days have gone you won’t even notice the lesser amount. That should help and it will also help with anyone regardless of how long you have been on it, just try it for a couple of days, it works a treat.
DEVINEMISSNAT: It is good that you have worked out how you feel and I am sure that is going to help you in the future, once you have it under control it will be just like second nature and you won’t even think of doing it. Knowing yourself is the very first step. Yes, I totally understand you wanting to get down to 50kgs if you are 5 foot tall. You can do it that’s for sure, you look great in your picture at any rate. Where you 50kgs in that photo?
CASEY: I can’t believe how sick you got, that’s amazing, how are you now? You are just going to be looking stunning in your bridesmaids dress. Don’t forget to send us the pictures. You’ll have to take one now and then one in June and pop them side by side…..Glad to hear your back on track.
SOS: Love your name, it’s great. I know how you feel about travelling and eating I have the next month coming up just full of travel and am a little scared. I may possibly even contemplate doing what you did even though I know it is wrong but when you are eating at other peoples places and if they are dishing up crap, you can’t say, Oh, I just want salad after they have gone to all the preparation. I know it isn’t a good thing to do but I can understand just as long as we don’t make a habit of it.
MEL: When I saw your name on the thread I just scrolled right down to the ticker, you are a champion, great work…. You’ll be in the 2 figure mark before you know it if you aren’t already there. If not I’m tipping by Thursday 26 feb. YEAHHHHHH…
RAJAH: How are you going now and have you been able to resist that French stick again, hope you can because bread is the absolute worst. Don’t worry about it though, next just smell it, you’ll be right and the more you resist things the easier it becomes and then you won’t even think of having it. Rajah, 4kgs in 10 days, LETS ALL HEAR IT FOR RAJAH, Pat yourself on the back, you deserve it, good on you, that’s great….
CRYSS: Hi and hope you are well. My god, don’t even look at your weight loss that way, I nearly had a heart attach myself when I read what you said. There are much bigger people out there some up to 250 & 300 kgs, your weight is nothing compared to that. Please just take 10 kgs at a time it is just so much easier that way and before you know it you will be on your last 10kgs to shift.
MONI: Yes, the weight loss does slow down but just watch what happens. You will usually loose between 150 & 250 g per day for about 3 to 5 days and then WAM, 700 g or more the next day and then it slows down. So what’s happening is our bodies are getting very use to it and has used all the excess fat as energy so it begins to store a little, even though were not eating fat it is still storing, so it does that for a few days and then it just can’t cope any more and pull out extra energy after a couple of days and there is our bonus for sticking to it even though we may have felt like throwing in the towel. (I know you didn’t say you were thinking of doing that but just in case someone out there was, hope that helps a little).
MISSYS MUM: Great to hear from you. Wow that fluid retention is a problem and believe it or not that slimmers tea will really assist with it as it cleans out your entire system of not just the food but excess fluid as well. Great to hear you are back on track. How about a ticker, if you need help in setting it up let me know and I’ll send you the details. Hope you found your puppa’s and it didn’t cost too much to get them back.
LISAB: Good on you for being so strong, you are doing it and I can see you are going to stick to it. Keep it up what ever you do and then once it’s off you can indulge sometimes without even giving it a though….65kgs here you come….You will look in the mirror and see a different person, but remember you didn’t pop the weight on over night and it isn’t going to come off over night either. Just stick to it and that reflection you see will change within month, promise…
NSANENFAT: WELCOME, we are all going to help you, that’s for sure. Have you stuck to it since Saturday, wow that’s nearly a week already if you have and by now you will have lost at least 2kgs. Make sure you stick with as we can all give you little tips and tricks that has helped all of us. How much do you want to get down to?
HEALTHYMUM: Great to hear from you again. How much have you lost all together now. You must have lost a bit if you can pull your jeans down without undoing the zip, great feeling isn’t it.
