This is the heaviest I've ever been.

Kaika- we have similar stats.. SW, CW,.. cept id like to be 160-150ish lol

how tall are you?

im down.. i need to loose some more weight! already lost 23lbs.. if i go by my dr scale i lost 24lbs!! wohoo

We do have simular stats. :) I am all most 5'5 and still not to ONEderland yet. I had a strange month in May. I got really sick, lost quite a bit of weight quickly and of course gained it back because I lost it so quick. I am bound and determined to be in ONEderland by my birthday which is in about two weeks. I stepped on the scale this morning and I am 202.5 (actually 204.5 but my scale is two pounds over according to my doctor's which is of course much more accurate than my cheap digital) so I ain't got far to go.

Good luck to everyone, I know you guys can do this, and congratulations to those of you that all ready have, that's awesome!

Kaika - you are so so close - you can do it! Come meet me in ONEderland (198.4 this morning) :) it's right around the corner for you!

I had started losing weight a couple years ago, in my grade 10 of school. My peak weight then was 310+ and I ended up getting down to 230 in maybe a year and 1 1/2. I had really been going through bad, bad, states of depression bad then, being 300lbs even in middle school. After losing that weight I've just hovered between 230 and 240, but I ready to lose it all now. I lost four pounds last week and am down to 226. I'm 6'2" and would like to get down to 190ish. I've been doing well so far, let's hope I can stick with it this time.

When I first posted in here, I was 248

Now I am 221 and more then half way there! I hope everyone reaches their goal :)

Awesome DeepGreen! I remember when you first posted in this thread, you seemed kind of bummed because you thought you were so far away. Turns out, you weren't as far away as you thought. I knew you could do it. You'll get there before you know it, you'll see.

Dev, there is no reason why you can do it to. You obvioulsy all ready have the tools, now all you have to do is put them to work. :)

Thanks slimmom. I got on the scale this morning and am now at 201.5. I haven't weight this little in a few years so I am pretty happy. Now, if I could just get down to 199.5 by tuesday, (my b-day) I'll be flippin exstatic!

Good luck everyone and go for it!

looks like i have a lot further to go than some, but i'd love to join in if i could. i need as many support groups as i can find...seriously!

If these birthdays keep coming up, your gonna get there first DG. ;)

I'm at 203 right now so I'm up a bit (ticker change tomorrow) but I'm getting there. I have a feeling this is my time to do it. No more flip flopping. :boxing:

Of course you can join us JM, all are welcome. :)

No. :( I'm UP to 210. My body hates me, I'm telling ya. I'm trying though. Maybe we will get there together. :)

We can do this together, heh! I was like you, plateauing, and then one day I stepped on the scale and I was down 6 lbs! We can do this together!

So apparently, I'm down to between 200-206 lbs.
It just kind-of depends on when I look at my weight.

I was my biggest at 240, so I've lost roughly 40 lbs.

I'm going to be playing DDR, trying to eat six small portions throughout the day, doing my 30-minute Leslie Sansone walk / jog video which is apparently the equivalent of walking 2.5 miles, running up and down my stairs, lifting my 5 lb weights, etc.

Hopefully I'll break 200 within a couple of weeks.
I really want to be able to fit back into a size 18 pair of pants. Le sigh.
My current goal weight is 160.

I am down to 209 as of this morning.. I can't wait to get to ONEderland :] Also when I hit 208 I will have lost 20 lbs.. Being so close, and a pound away from the 20lbs lost mark has made my day (already) so much better!

Since the year 2000 , i've been under 200 only once. I hope to control my night time snacking and get under by august.

Good luck everyone. :)

For some reason, that 200 barrier has been a b*tch and a half for me, GRRR. However, I think I just have to get there slowly. I had some expectations on myself that just weren't happening so I adjusted my attitude a little. It was hard knowing my mother lost 70 pounds in 6 months because for some reason, my body just won't let me lose it that fast. If I could lose 10 pounds a month, I'd be such a happy camper but I may have to settle for 6. Hey, it's better than nothing.

I need some serious advice. I can't even get close to 200. I was 227 this morning. I am usally 226-232 and it goes up and down and never any different. I am going to the gym 4-5 days a week doing half hour cardio and half hour of weights. I am eating lots of fish, veggies and brown rice and high protein smoothies for breakfast plus good healthy snacks. I am playing softball every weekend. I don't get it. The weight just won't budge and I don't know what to do and I am getting soooooooo discouraged. Any advice out there???

I seem to be having the same problem Jean. I've been stuck between 204 and 197 for five months or so now. I've increased my workout, changed my eating habits, and am getting more rest. I asked a friend and they told me to try those aerobic workouts they made you do in hs gym like leg lifts, sit ups, etc. It's only been a couple of days, but when I do them I can really feel it burn even though those are they areas I work when I'm at the gym. I'll let you know if it pulls me out of my rut.

Based on your protein intake, I wonder if you need to increase your weight lifting so that it can help build more muscle, but I'm nowhere near an expert on the subject so I don't know. Perhaps you should seek out Steve. Let me know if you find something that works for you. Good luck.
