Club "One-derland"

Wow Pandora, 89 pounds is quite an accomplishment, congratulations! Best of luck to you on your journey to ONEderland, looks like you are well on your way.

Well folks, I am offically only two pounds away from breaking 200 myself. It's my first big goal and I hope to get there by next week or at least by the begining of May. I am soooooo close, AH!

I think setting a goal and then offering yourself a reward for achieving that goal is a great idea because it gives you extra motivation. I have used this strategy in the past and it really helps (but only if you set realistic goals).

I agree sb. I also think that we deserve to be rewarded for all of our efforts. Maybe we can also talk about ways we can reward ourselves in this thread.

Ooh, I need to think of something to reward myself with once I do reach ONEderland. I can't really think if anything though. Anyone have any suggestions for rewards that we could do? Besides food that is. ;)

Count me in too, I need some good inspiration. I am 227 right now. I've been there for awhile. I started at the gym doing lots of cardio and gained 5 pounds and was 232 but now dropped back down to 227 so hopefully I am on my way down. My goal weight is 155. I am 5'6 so I think that is a good goal weight. Good luck to everyone. I will sing hallelujia when my scale finally drops below 200!!!!!

Hiya, I have just really got my head truly around the weightloss thing today, and joined the site. Have been wondering about setting a first target for myself to work towards, and 200lb sounds fab!! I think i'm about 211lb at the moment, hoping to be under 15stone on Mondays weigh in, so aiming for 209 or under.

Reading about others in this striving for 200lb mark area has made me feel really good :) and some of you have lost soooo much already, you're inspirational, thanks :)

Welcome Indiansummer, that's what we're here for. :)

Good luck on reaching that first goal. It's my first goal too. :)

Thanks Kaika!!

Im really excited about having a proper first goal which is far more insight than my final weightloss, infact i am so unbelievably up for losing weight this time i don really believe it!!

Will be checking in with my progress on Monday :)

K xx

It's funny how you kind of know when that light bulb goes off and you know you're really determined this time, isn't it? I think you're going to do just fine! :)

Well folks, it won't be official till Sunday because that's when I move my ticker but according to the scale this morning and the April 2 pounds a week challange thread, I weigh 199! Can I say it? I broke this b*#ch! I'll still be here from time to time to say hello and to help inspire but please keep in mind that if I can do (and I know it sounds cliche' but it's TRUE) anyone can!

YAY Welldone You!!!!

That is fab fab fab!! There is no better feeling than beating a milestone huh??!

I hope that on Monday (weigh in day) I've broken the 15stone barrier, thats my first mini target i set a few weeks back, and I was 15 stone 1 on Monday, so 2lb is all i need to do it!!

Then, 11 lb to go til I can join you in beating the 200 barrier too, yay!!

xx

Thanks Indiansummer and good luck, I know you'll get there, you just have to keep plugging away. :)

Well, today it's official, I officially moved my ticker, therefore, I officially broke 200 hundred and have made it to ONEderland. I'm not at 198 YEA!!!

I know you guys can do it too, you just have to keep at it and you'll get there. :)

I do I got to 203 then hit 213 now I'm at 210 so I'm back on my way down. Its amazing what you won't achieve when you cheat a little hare and there or skip a day or two. But I'm determined.

OMG! OMG! The digits on the scale this morning did not start with a 2!!!!! It started with a 1 !!!!!

The scale read 199.6 !!!! Holy Crap!!!! This is so exciting!!!! I had been struggling in April to get here! And I did it the last day of the month!!! Yes! Yes! Yes!

I saw 199 and I started to cry and then laugh. Gosh, this feels GREAT!!!!

Great job Kirby you must be delighted. It just goes to show that all that motivation does eventually pay off. Keep up the good work and keep sharing because it is an inspiration to all of us who are trying to get there too. I keep losing and gaining the same 4 pounds for the last 2 weeks. That is frustrating!!
