It's been a thrill, but I'm moving on (for good I hope)
My last whiny message notwithstanding

, I've hung in for another week and now have moved to the 170's club

and I hope not to come back here. What's extra encouraging about the 3 pound loss that moved me out of here is that for the last 3 days we've had family visitors (1 adult, two junk food loving kids) and we did go out to eat a lot since I knew that broiled fish, salads, and steamed veggies, or protien-fortified oatmeal would not go over with the kids, who don't recognize a meal without french fries.
Their mom let them eat junk while we were out at family restaurants, and I found lots of iced tea, salads, my own dressing, and not eating everything on my plate --- It can be done!
The good news is that I got my exercise effortlessly when we took the kids out to burn off their hyperactivity and I walked and played with them.
Now they're gone, and I'm about to go enjoy my salmon, salad and brocolli. Those kids don't know what their missing.
