Cate's Diary

That sounds really good taking a nice relaxing non-tiring walk. Hope it helps!
Thanks, M. We just got back & it was mentally good for me. I’ll definitely take it easy. Back to my book & a pot of herbal tea 📖🫖🌿

Airing out those viruses always feels good - provided you don't overdo it of course. It sucks that it takes so long though :grouphug:

I slept in the spare bedroom last night as neither of us could get comfortable. I still woke quite a few times but got enough sound sleep. I'm still mucky but no worse.
I have been eating well & decided not to worry about trying to lose weight until I'm well again. July might be the start I think. I'll be doing Dry July anyway & that will help.
I thought I had posted already, but apparently I hadn't.....
I started a new thread. Does anyone else do Wordle? https://www.fitness.com/en/forum/threads/wordle.1956275/

Good you are resting up and not worrying about anything else, especially not weight loss while sick! I tried Wordle, and like it, but not as an every day thing - I think I need to be in a relaxed mood to do it, and I've been in hyperdrive lately. Dry July sounds really good. Hope you are having a nice time reading and resting.

Thanks, M. I have run out of unread books, but today is Saturday so we get our big Victorian newspaper thank goodness. I'll try to make it last. We are both a little sick of being at home & are looking forward to being ok to get out. We'll test again on Monday. A walk around the river with Arch would be nice.

I do Wordle, Cate! With the time difference, I'm not sure how it will work, but I will visit the thread.

Sorry about the Covid - I'm sure you and G will be back to full health in no time. x

Hope you do get the walk by the river in soon because your test comes back negative! I was thinking the same thing about being stir crazy being a hopeful sign that you are recovering quickly!

Fingers crossed, M 🤞 I was short of breath today but still managed 2 slow walks with Arch. I am loving the (very) fresh air. I would hate to live in the tropics or in far north Queensland. It is not for me.
Today is day 6 of Iso & hopefully only one more day. I had a nap this afternoon & will try to stay awake during the evening.

Yay for walks and fresh air! My brain misfired for a second and set up a convoluted scenario in which time wizards sent you 19th century newspapers once a week. I blame Floater. Or maybe I need a walk and some fresh air...

So happy you are well enough for slow walks! We just got back from 98F (36.66C) Savannah, so cool air walks sound wonderful!

After another really good night's sleep, I have woken with a much clearer head & have tested negative for covid :D
I can now go into town & do some shopping & we can take Arch for a walk around the river. It's a miserable-looking winter's day, but who cares? YAY!

Excellent! Keep taking it easy for a while but I'm sure Archie will be thrilled.
