Do you ever throw in a re-feed day?

Do you ever throw in a re-feed day?

Hi Bflat to be honest I never heard of a re-feed day before. I looked it up and if I am understanding it I believe it is basically increasing your carb intake. I do not cut carbs out of my diet but the amount I consume I am sure very day to day, I do not count them. For me personally crunching numbers to figure calories carbs and proteins would drive me nuts and I know I would not stick with it. So I try to keep it simple by eating 4 to 5 meals (1200 -1500 cal. a day) cutting out the refined carbs. You did make me curious about how much carbs I am eating so I did a ruff count of carbs in my meals yesterday and I came up with around 80 grams.

But to answer your question I do not do a re feed day. Now if I hit a plateau this might be something I will look into.

Never quit. If you stumble, get back up. What happened yesterday no longer matters. Today’s another day so get back on track and move closer to your dreams and goals. You can do it.

Hi Bob,

Welcome. All the best for your journey…. Stay motivated, you'll definitely achieve your goal. I was 220 lbs when I started, and now I am 143 lbs from almost 4 years. It took me almost 1 year on Keto to reduce this much weight.

You're closing in on fifty pounds down, and nearly into the 250s! Your progress is really astonishing - how steady it's been - practically a straight line on a graph, I expect. Pretty darn impressive!

Nobody ever got to the top of a mountain in one giant jump. Challenges can be overcome, and goals can be reached, but it can only happen one step at a time.

It is not important what other people believe you can achieve. It is only important what you believe you can achieve. Stay focused and show them what you can do when you put your mind to it.

So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable.

Just successfully completed the 11th week of my transformation with a loss of 3.8 lbs for the week. The scale came in at 260 pounds bringing my total loss to 48.6 lbs. I was hoping to get in the 250's but that is okay I am happy with the results. My loss was still a result of just diet and walking at work I still haven't been getting any gym time. Still no problem with the diet there are even some days I am not hungry but make myself eat another meal just to get the calories in. Week 12 might be a little more challenging with Thanksgiving and the big football game Saturday but I am ready to tackle it and hopefully get to a 50 lbs loss, the half way mark to my goal.

I refuse to go back to the old me. I am becoming a better person by using my past experiences as lessons.
