Bailey's Diary

Thanks New Leaf!!!

Yesterday on my day off I planned to take the my 14 yr old son to school and come home, go back to bed and get up whenever I wanted, work out and do housework all day. But, my 12yr old son with the broken toe has not gone back to school yet and I was not able to go back to bed. My day revolved mostly around him - helping with school work, cleaning out his bookbag (that took forever). I also went grocery shopping and got lots of veggies and good food back in the house. Did all the laundry. Didnt get my carpets vacuumed though...

I finally got the chance to do the treadmill last night about 5p. I was so wiped out by 10pm that i didnt even get on the forum yesterday.

I have yet to do my treadmill and my water intake is horrible today. Looks like I will be up later drinking water and exercising. I did happen to jump on the sale this moring and was pleasantly surprised. Hope it is a true reading.

I Have to tear myself away from this forum pretty soon, though to get downstairs and work it...

Sat and Sun new treadmill program.

30min 262cal 39.4 cards More consectuvie minutes at a highter speed.
It is harder now. Cant wait till it is manageable.

Sat had a great eating day.
Sun I started out good. Did the treadmill when we got home from the wrestling meet, but I did indulge a little from 6-10pm

The hubby and children helped take the Christmas tree and decorations down and I was done vacuuming, had the house in order. Hubby went to his brothers and children not home so I made a fire, made some hot choc with marsh, peanut butter w/ celery, popcorn and sat and watched Sherlock Holmes mysteries all night. I really needed the peace and quiet.

Today, Mon is much better. Although still tired, I am back on track and will do the treamill when I got home tonight around 9pm...

I am determined to lose this weight. My 14yr old son is also dropping weight to wrestle at at lower weight. Right now he is at 122 and we want to get him to 109 then start putting on muscle weight on him. He is working out now on treadmill and with the weights. I guess this is a family activity. :D

I get a buncha wrestlers (and other people) into gnc that always say, I want to gain weight, what can I do??? lol...umm, take some of mine??
The treadmill will get better too :) it took me a while to get used to it, as I'm sure a lotta people do, but its not so bad now!

hey Bailey.. keep up the good work. Glad you got a peaceful night alone!! :)

Way to go having your son in on it too. That can be encouraging!! :)

Thanks New Leaf

Still on the treadmill. Yesterday and today doing the newer weight loss program. My tread comes with a bunch of programs already programed in. It is getting a little easier. Not quite ready to add anothr half hour of aerobics yet. Maybe in a week or two.

Eating is still good. Lately my weakness has been eating french style multi grain bread with a piece of low fat cheese. I just break a hunk of it off, grab some cheese and go. SInce the hunks I have been breaking off have been quite large I bought smaller fresh wheat rolls so I can control my portion.

Water intake has been good. Some days I dont really work hard at it till late afternoon. I take a bottle or two in the morning, then work on my energy drink till mid afternoon. But by nite I have been getting it all in.

I am still excited about losing weight :p

Hi Bailey. I know I haven't checked in on you previously, but I'm here now. Sorry! Anyway, sounds like you're doing great. Looks like we are gonna kick some butt on the challenge! I haven't been able to post as much as usual but I'm sticking to my goals and doing pretty good! Better than I thought actually!

Bailey you're really rockin on.. keep up the great work! ;) Sorry I can't post more, but just barely making it online with company here!!

DOING GREAT GIRL!!!!!! Keep up the good work! You can do this!!!!

Thanks for all the support. You guys really make this web site. I know I wouldnt be quite so enthused about losing weight if it werent for you all. You are just that boost I need to make it.

Hey Bailey! Good for you for staying committed to the treadmill. If you're looking to advance a little try going 1 minute longer every day or even 2 days. Within 2 weeks to a month, you'd be up to an hour. I always found adding 5 minutes was too much. Pushing yourself for one extra minute isn't so bad.

Hey Bailey

sounds like an excellent beginning! And Im excited for you too! You have an excellent attitude, and I see some major butt kicking from you already!

Isnt this a helluvan adventure?

Here I am, after 10pm reading and posting. I should be going to bed. Still lookin' for my clone.... to go to work for me tomorr so I can dedicate my energy to losing this weight.

jenny craig is great i love it! mostly cause i buy the food so i just eat what they tell me and i'm good and the foods really good so thats pretty awsome. and the consualtint is awsome and really really supportive so that's good too. the only drawback with jenny craig is that if u eat their food it's pretty expensive so that sucks

If I had the extra money I would do something like that but at this time I dont... oh well...... I am doing well so far and I hope to keep it up. I like the contests. THey keep me motivated.

Still doing the treadmill for exercise. Since every weekend is booked this month and I am extra busy I will try to add a Kathy Smith tape next month. That will help with the upper body. I know them all by heart and could do the routines in my sleep. Too bad I dont (lol)

More later...

You bet and I think this will work !!!!!!

Thanks Trusylver :)

One more day of that challange and I can finally move my ticker. I did well this challange but it was keeping up the the exercise that kept me going. If I had quit the exercise my eating habits would have gotten worse and I wouldnt be drinking the water I need.

I am pretty busy and for the next 2 weeks I only have Sun off and those are wrestling meet days. I am grateful for whatever sleep and help around the house I get. But, the football banquet is at the end of Feb so I have another reason to keep the momentum up.
