Just FRICKEN DO IT!

Best wishes

Chillen

lol. thanks for the encouragement.

on a side note, today I saw the most beautiful, physically anyway, girl I've ever seen in my whole life. (I use guy/girl to refer to men/women, boys/girls, she was actually college age. Point is, I use them to refer to people of all ages) Also when I was walking my dog, I saw the most amazing sky I've ever seen.

Studies show that people feel good when looking at attractive people / things. I agree.

That is true..........That is why you have to keep training to "keep being the best thing given to women".......... ;)

**** workout today, maybe i didn't eat anything but 2 slices of pizza (bad i know) or maybe i slept 6 hours oh well. Just a bad day.

deadlift
5(205) 5(210) 5(210) 4(225) 2(220)

bench 2x5 145
bent over row 3x5 70

pushups with weighto n back
2x8 with 25
1x10 with 35 (don't ask)

meh. my partner didn't show up.
funnily enough, he's always like "so dude i'm gonna lift with you from now on" and gets all pissy at me when i don't believe him, and then he never shows up to do anything. If he just didn't want to lift, that'd be no problem, since I really am not affected by his not lifting, but if he's going to tell me he wants to lift, and i'm going to wait for him, he should show the **** up.

YO, dave. good to see your still progressing. keep it up bro.
and i can relate to the workout partner thing...why cant any of us live close to eachother?!?!?!?!?!

Word. I've experienced that plenty of times. I've even banked on partners to show up so I can do X exercise, but when they don't show, it's even worse.

Today:

bulg split squats 5x5 40s each hand

Superset: 5x5 each
Weighted pushups 45 pound plate on back (did 6 on the last set)
upright row 115 105 105 105 105

Legs hurt like hell after rthose bulg squats, and I've been getting far inadequate sleep. Couldn't do squats today.

Superset 3x5
Dips
Pullups

superset 3x5
Pushups with 45 on back
Bent over Row 70s

:( dammit, i don't know how to do the crying face.

I could have done squats, just with not as much weight as usual, so i figured, whats the point.

If you had enough rest, and your diet was okay: sometimes the body gets lethargic and lazy, but the mind is willing to rock and roll.

This isnt a reason to dismiss the training. Rather it is a reason to keep reasonably pushing. If you have to drop the weight 5lbs and do a couple of extra reps.......so be it.....this is a benefit, and could possibly be a benefit that may show itself the next workout.

If all things are in place, and YOU KNOW IT......the MIND has to kick in and take over.........

This WILL NOT BE THE FIRST TIME or the LAST TIME you experience this

KEEP MOVING, BROTHA!

Hey, I did see your post in the chillout log........thanks for the post, man!

I need to get caught up on your journal...........Sorry for not stopping in more........I will from now on.......I apologize............

KEEP ROCKING ON...............OR.............

I bust out the Chill Strap..........:)

EDIT: I read the rest of your journal. What was bothering your sleep lately? Or was it the pain in the legs from the squats? And, when you say pain, what type of pain? Muscle soreness pain, tendon pain, what?

Hey, as usual thanks alot for dropping in Chillen. School is bothering my sleep. I have so many classes etc. and PSATs are coming up, and I have to do very well on them (family... sister was a genius, I won't live up to it, blah blah, etc. etc.) each practice test for the PSAT takes around 2.5 hours. So I don't ahve much sleep time.

When I say legs hurt, I mean I was a pansy and they were sore. I'm fine now. Now that I'm eating less It takes me longer to recover... I think, that and I get 6 hours or so a night.

I wish you the best of luck with the PSATS!.......You are a genius.....in just being you......dont let anyone tell you differently.............> :)

Its good to here it was a good sore. And, you realize......your mistake. Now, you know what you WILL do and what you WONT do.........right? Right?.....eh?

You can run okay on 6 hours of sleep, Dave. Dont be fooled......you are fine with 6 hours......Of course get more, but if you cant, 6 hours will not cause Dave to go to the funny farm...and start acting whacky.....like chillen..so you are okay.......really....

You have alot of mental things drawing alot of energy from you at the moment this can be just as taxing on the body as physical stress sometimes.

In addition, the body is being stressed with a deficit caloric balance and this mixes into your personal situation as well.

Furthermore the body is being stressed from weight training.

Therefore you have the mind yelling at you, the body yelling you, and then have to live up to your family standards:

(family... sister was a genius, I won't live up to it, blah blah, etc. etc.)

So I have this off the cuff thing to say: ;)

Dave: Drill this blah, blah, blah, SH@T into the fricken toilet PIT; I must ADMIT the stink will QUIT BIT by BIT if your intense WIT is closely KNIT!

I gather you are fighting some mental and physical fatigue. How are you approaching this?................

ROCK ON!

DAVE!...............> :)

well, I just do the homework and go lift, and then i come home and eat, and I sleep. I really wish I slept more though, My nice english teacher allows me to come into her room during lunch/study hall and I just put my head down and take a nap.

My approach is pretty much, do everything I need to do, complain about it, watch some crude humor (in the form of southpark), and wait till I have less to worry about.

I didn't know that thinking/learning made you really tired, but I just took 2 PSAT practice tests in a row and my score was markedly lower the second time around, whereas I normally get a perfect or 1 point away from perfect score on the math section, I got far from perfect during the second test.

Today,

Parallel squats
don't even remember, i sucked though, could barely go parallel and whatnot with 185, shame of my life. I'll get over it though.

Old people were in the gym today, they insisted on using the dip machine (I say this because the only way to do dips is ont he assistance machine, that you get rid of assistance with by putting a dumbbell on the stand) for a 50 rep of 1/8 ROM dips and 1/16 ROM pullups.

So, I just started BSing some ****.

Pullups 9 6 5
Dips 5
Weighted pushups (45 on back) 2x8

Curl & Continental Press 1x8 70

only one thing to say to you-

when you are 18 you are going to be furocious if you keep this up.

impressed
