I had a circle of friends that met for dinner 2-3 times per week.
I could not keep down the weight.
So then I met up with them only once a week.
That helped a little.
Now I seldom call any of them. And when I do, they always want to meet for dinner.
So now I meet up with them only once every other month.
And I eat exactly half of everything and take the rest home in a box.
They know I have a weight problem and always insist I order dessert, which I no longer do.
One friend would call me 2 or 3 times a week to meet for breakfast.
Some of those breakfasts are way over 600 calories!
My breakfast at home is only 200 calories.
Finally I told her that with the cost of gasoline, I could no longer afford to eat out as often.
That was the best thing I could do, cuz I have lost 5 lbs now in the last 2 months.
So cut way down on the dinner dates. It will sure add to your weight loss.
It is working for me.
But I do miss seeing them as often. But I like seeing a skinnier me too.
(And the money I am saving on restaurant bills I can now spend on smaller size clothes!)
Don't dig your grave with your own knife and fork.
