Anyone here believe in UFOs or aliens?

Just a random thought (I'm bored at home sore and unable to do fun things like ride my horse :(). Soooo...

What do you think? Do you think there is life out there? Why or why not? Do you think that an alien spacecraft has ever visited here?

The Alien Interview by Rocket Pictures a few years ago. Apparently a guy named Victor smuggled the footage out of Area 51.
 
I'm a big SciFi buff. My favorite quote on the subject actually came from 'Contact'.

"If there isn't life out there, it sure seems like and awful big waste of space." Or something like that.

I don't know if there is life out there or not. I like to think there is though.

Seriously, i think there is, not on every planet, but of all the galaxies and planets out there, why are we so friggin special? It doesnt have to be super intelligent with super hyperspace spacecrafts and stuff like that, maybe like us, maybe living in caves.. maybe a bit ahead of us, maybe super advanced jedi knights.. i dont know, but one of them, definitly! :p
 
Yup, I definitely believe. I've had some experiences, and it wasn't just me, it was with a lot of family and friends. I don't care if people necessarily believe me or not either (most/a lot of people won't or don't).
 
When I look at the Hubble Deep Field images, it's kind of hard to not believe that there's intelligent life outside of earth. The following image represents an area of the sky that you could cover with a pencil eraser held at about arm’s length; there are something like 3,000 galaxies in this tiny piece of the sky:
 
It would be damn lonely if we're the only ones out here.

Lawl, even if there were benevolent, pacifist intersteallar-travelling beings, why would they come down and interact with people that point weapons at themselves?
 
Im an alien. I came from a planet called bingbong and Im an avid weightlifter :D

I dont presonally believe in other life but I havent really done any reasearch so I dont have the right to comment but I did anyway so there!
 
Yes, I believe there to be life other then our own somewhere out there. To say we are the only beings in all of space to me seems somewhat feeble minded.
 
I'm sure there is something living out there, bacteria, plants, animals, just because they are aliens does not mean they have to be intellegent, or if they are why are they automatically considered more intellegent than us, yet they could be. Why does everything have to be a conspiracy, why cant things be simple.


Its fun to think about I guess, I never really cared too much. When I see it perhaps I'll get more involved. Untill then I will focus all my attention on girls, money, and my biceps. :cool:

Yup, basically my thoughts on the matter. There's got to be SOMETHING out there.

I don't want to put anybodies beliefs down or anything so please don't take this too harshly if your religious..

I find it hard to believe that people can easily accept the idea of a giant invisible man in the sky that created everything, but laugh if somebody mentions something super natural or life on other planets.

I'm not sure if there is life beyond earth, but I'm not naive enough to rule it out. I brought up religion because most religions are headed by super-natural beings yet the majority of Americans (70-80% Christian) handles anything to do with UFO's or super natural occurences with skepticism.
 
that might be because in most religiones humans are special, created by a god in that gods image. Thus they dont belive in life on other planets.
