Stealing or not, that avatar is creepy as hell man. Everything about A Clockwork Orange creeps me out.

You should read the book. The ending is totally different. I wonder if they've made an English translation of it, though.

Anyone feel free to turn me in to whoever owns the rights to that film. If they have a problem with it I'll be glad to remove it.

LOL deschain,
I had to represent the milk drinkers. I prefer mine without droogies though.

I would probably do better reading the book (I usually do). Because my mind can create the images I want to accompany the story. Whereas the actor cast for Alex has a look in his eye that I can't stand.

For some reason, though, I just can't handle the same things I used to enjoy. I can no longer read Dean Koontz, John Saul, or Stephen King - I just became a total scaredy cat out of nowhere. (Side note - my mom always did say those images weren't good for my brain, I guess maybe she was right)

Pardon the hijack.

This is hilarious. In other words, your copyright infringement is conscionable so long as the copyright holder doesn't find out. Why should anyone have to turn you in? Aren't you the fellow who said, "It' not that hard to believe that honest people exist, is it?"

It's not good to drink alone.

Reading the book is a fun exercise because it is written by Alex in the first person, and thus is written in Nadsat rather than English. While the movie is great in its own right, the message of the book is quite different.

I just don't know how well I'd do reading a first person account of someone raping two 10yr old little girls, and other various acts of violence.

It's been over 10 years since I last read it, but I don't recall a scene like that. However, based on that sentiment, I think a reading that might be to your liking is the 19th chapter of the Book of Judges.
