Thanks for stopping by you guys
I am really happy I have been able to resist most temptation. I know there are some foods I used to eat 3-4 times a week that I wont even touch drunk anymore, but I still have my weaknesses. Out of the blue the other day, I had an INTENSE craving for some burritos (fatty tortilla, cheese, refried beans, salty chicken, the works). I somehow managed to dodge it and make it into a subway. I felt much better about eating that instead, and after I finished eating, I was glad I didn't succumb to it.
Had a great day yesterday. Was able to stretch my legs during my afternoon lunch break. My distance tracker has been acting up, but over the course of 40 mins at a leisurely pace, id estimate its between 1.50-1.75 miles or so. Got out of work late yesterday, so I figured I would walk around for another 45 min while I waiting for rush hour to die down. It didnt work haha. It was a parking lot on the way home. Ah well, you learn.
Got home, realized I was out of my staple chicken! **PANIC** I subbed in a turkey sandwich. Complemented the wich with veggies, and an crisp apple (nothing beats it) for dessert. It wasn't as much protein as I would have liked before gym, but it worked out fine for the day.
Went to the gym that evening with the focus on legs. I havent really done str training on that segment of my body in months, so I did some circuits testing out what weight setting I needed to be at. I felt it for sure in my hammys and quads, but I think I let my calves off easy in hindsight.
3x10 115lb Calf raise
3x10 90lb Leg extension
3X10 115lb Hamstring Curl
3x10 110lb Sitting Calf raise
I need to tinker a little more with the weight, but I'm tons more fimilar with my leg machines now. Finished up with a mile jog/walk 4% elevated. Man, it makes a huge difference in difficulty. I love how much it makes me push myself.
Weigh in this morning was more stable at 304.2
Tonight, focusing on chest and back.
