Ok so I never mentioned..I went shopping the other day. They had jeans on sale and I bought 2 pair...size 16! WAHOO! Still much bigger than I wish but I'm so excited about that! I also bought a cute dress on sale. I bought an 18 and believe it or not, it's too big, SO back I go to get a 16. Also, I went shopping yesterday and bought this cute black shirt (Large, not XL) AND I bought another dress, size 16 and it's sooo cute. It's so nice to be able to find some cute nice clothes now.

That's great, Amanda! I know how you feel about the clothes. Personally, I can't wait until I don't have to shop at the local Big & Tall. :)

Sorry girls...I haven't been too big on posting in this thing lately. Things have been going alright on my end though.

Well...my papaw has cataracts in both eyes and needs to get that taken care of, but he has to talk to his doctor about whether he should do that before or after he gets the defibrilator put in. Then my mamaw had these red spots on her arms which her doctor said was ringworm. When she went to another doctor she found out it wasn't ringworm, they were cancer. My little cousin just had her tonsils taken out. And my brother is sick. So needless to say, things have been kind of up and down here.

On the bright side, I weighed in today and officially lost 2 pounds this week. So I'm pretty happy about that (although it is the 2 pounds that I had gained the past 2 weeks). I'll take what I can get. :)

The best thing...I leave Thursday for my little vacation. I'll be gone from Thurs to Tuesday so no posting or weighing for me. I'm going to see Greg...YAY! I get to be with him for his b-day (the 3rd) so I'm extremely happy...right Korrie? Yeah but PHEW that 8 hour drive...wish me luck! lol!

Ha Ha! Or should I say LMFAO! Wishing you luck girly girl! Sorry to hear that about your dad and bro. Hope things start looking up.

sorry about your family health hope everything will be better soon :)

Just wanted to stop in and let you all know that I made it to Greg's. I got here at about 9:30 on Thursday night. I'm having an absolute blast right now and I'll tell you all about it when I return. I hope everyone's weight loss is going well still as mine is on pause. :)

Hey glad to hear it!! Hope the fun doesn't stop. I guess my weight loss is on hold this week too...oh well, what can you do?? So have fun and have a safe trip home!

I knew you were going to leave me in the wind. You are so strong. But I am here to catch up tp you! hope you're having a great time!

For those who wonder where I've been

Things have been quite hectic around here lately. I went to PA to see Greg (my b/f) for the 4th of July and his b-day. I was there from Thursday night until Tuesday about noon. It was a great time! I had a blast being with him (after not seeing him for 2 months) and even hanging out with his parents!

Ok so they had to freeze off some more of my mamaw’s (grandma) spots but they think they got all the cancer when they dug them out, so that’s good news. My papaw(grandpa) just had his cataract surgery and everything is doing alright there. He goes in to see the heart surgeon soon. Were not sure on a date for his surgery yet but I definitely can't wait for that day to be over with.

Greg is still gone and I miss him so much! Being with him reminded me of how much fun we have together! He sent me some roses last week with a sweet note for coming to see him, they were beautiful! My next door neighbor, who is like another grandma to me, had a stroke. She's staying with her daughter right now because the doctor doesn't think she should be by herself. Although she is doing better though so let's hope everything turns out ok there.

Some of the renters tried to tell my parents that they paid me rent and basically saying I pocketed it. (while my parents were out of town for a month) So I'm waiting on the court date because I'm sure I'll have to go.

Someone tried to break in to my apartment. There’s a door in my bedroom that leads to the shed. Thank god my dresser is in front of it, blocking it, otherwise they would have been right in there (the door frame was busted out and everything). I'm still living there though, by myself. The door has been reinforced and as usual my bat is ready to be used. If I ever find out who tried to break in...phew watch out! (I personally think it was the people upstairs...too many things to just be coincidence)

Last Sunday was my nephew's b-day party! It was fun. This past Friday I went to my niece's last softball game, then my brother and I went fishing (I caught 2 but nothing worth keeping!). Saturday I went with my sis-in-law, nieces and nephew...we went to the IMAX theater and saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! I had a blast! Then I went by my cousin's b-day party (it was a redneck party lol!). Oh yeah they had a tarp in the yard with carpeting under it, put some dish soap on there and sprayed it with the hose...we went on our home made slip and slide. LOL! Then I went to my bro's house to play video games and then home to bed. Woke up early Sunday and went to Cabela's (HUGE outdoorsmen type store), then went to my niece's birthday party (played some games, rode go karts twice, played putt putt, and hit at the batting cages). Went to my ball game, which the other team forfeited, and we practiced for an hour. We then went to the sports bar for one of the girl's b-day and then I went by my bro's again, played a couple of games and went home to bed. I am so physically exhausted I could just fall over! LOL! It's all been a blast though!

Venting

Ok if I want this so bad, why can't I stick with it? What the heck is my deal? I've done so well up until this point, why would I want to go back to the way things were before. I realize I need a swift kick in the butt, but I know the only one that can really get me going, is myself. I suppose I've got to learn to take my ups with my downs.

My mom was complimenting me on how good I look and things like that. It was like I couldn't fully enjoy the compliment, knowing that i was failing as we spoke. It was kind of a strange feeling to have. Of course I still enjoyed the compliment but who knows. I just really need to get moving again. I really never thought that I would have lost as much weight as I have. Now on the other hand, having lost that weight I should be a lot further than I am now. Why I continue to let myself slip back into the same old habits and such time and time again, is really beyond me.

I know it's a combination of diet and exercise that I need. My main goal right now though, is to get exercising consistantly. Making myself find the time to do so. With the weather as it is it makes it increasingly difficult. I'm going to go on 4, 5 mile bike rides this week. That is my first goal to get myself going again.

On a bright note...I did buy a jean skirt and was really excited about that. I'm not big on dressing up but for once I found one that fit and I felt comfortable in. I'll post a picture sometime when I get home. Ok that's enough rambling for now. It feels good to get everything out and hopefully I'll continue to return here to the forum.

People are really scary sometimes, with the renters and the break-in and all. It sounds like you had a good trip otherwise, though. Welcome back!

Don't get discouraged. :) It looks like you have some really good days in your diary! If it was easy to stick to good eating habits, none of us would be here, right?

Bicycle rides sound like a great idea! Yeah, it is hard to get out with the weather like this... Swimming is another great calorie-burning activity, and it sure beats the heat. ;) I'm glad you found a jean skirt you liked! Isn't shopping the most motivating activity??

Hey girl, i'm here for a good swift kick in the butt if you want! I'm going through it too girl, we just need to get ahold of ourselves and do it.

You know what it takes? Get up and tell yourself, your going to have a healthy breakfast...dont' even think about anything else as an option. Just eat your breakfast...then do the same for lunch. When temptation comes just remind yourself that you are choosing to love you, not food. Stop thinking, just do it. :) Love ya!!

 Is it fear? When I started loosing more than I ever thought I would I started to get scared, I no it sounds silly but all of a sudden you find you have all this control that you never thought you would have. Im doing the rounds with the wagon want to jump back on. :D It sounds like you had a wonderful time away, bit scary coming back home the way everything is going though. I hope everything gets sorted out soon.
