Hi, I'm Adriana. When I started losing I was at 139. That was where I leveled off after the birth of my second child. He's 1 now.

I'd been down to my prepg weight from my second a few times (132) but never from my first. (113) Now that I'm finished having kids, I'm on a mission to get back to my prekids weight... minus a few lbs. My long term goal weight is 110. I'm 5'4" so that is within a healthy range.

Short term, my goal is 120. I've been on my 18 lbs in six weeks kick for three weeks now, and I've lost 9 lbs!! woo hoo! Right on track! I've cheated a bit but was also very sick for about three days which helped me lose about 2 lbs.

Saturday, sunday and today have been very good... wednesday and thurs were very bad... I didn't keep a journal from sat, so I'll only list from yesterday on. Thanks so much for reading my journal and keeping me accountable!!
 
Sunday

Breakfast: Low carb single serving pack of yougurt with a little granola on top (which made it not so low carb!:) ) - 60+??=110
One serving Total with milk - 140
I cup v8 Fusion - 140
1 liter water

Lunch: Lean cuisine meal - 240
Smart ones ice cream sandwich - 140
can of diet coke

Snack: 1 serving craisens trail mix - 140
2 liters water

Dinner: One packet south beach wheat crackers - 100
1 light mozzerella stick - 60
4 slices lean turkey - 40

Exercise: Tennis - 40 min = 230
walking - 60 min = 220
swimming - 60 min = 210
2 liters water

Total caloric intake: 1110 Calories burned: 660
 
Today so far

Toda
Breakfast: 4 slices lean turkey - 40
1 apple - 50
1 liter water

Lunch: Lean cuisine meal with dessert - 320
diet coke

Snack: 11/3 serving craisen trail mix - 200
Jello sugar free pudding cup - 60

Dinner: Smart Ones pot roast meal - 170
diet coke
1 cup v8 fusion - 140

Exercise: 45 min walking = 165
about 11/2 hours of housework = ??? :)

Totals caloric intake: 980 Total burned: 265?

food looks great but only up to 560ish for the day. make sure you have a good dinner. maybe even an extra snack. Dont pull a me and only get half of what you need......lee
 
Keep an eye on the calories. You made the right choice in joining the forum. I can't tell you how much support I've received. We've got your back!
 
Tuesday

here's what I've had to far---

Breakfast: 4 slices lean deli turkey - 40
1 light mozzerella stick - 60
1 pack south beath diet wheat crackers - 100

Snack - sugar free pudding cup- 60
1 serving trail mix - 140

lots and lots of water!! I walked/jogged with my kids for 40 minutes today... in the searing Texas heat.:eek: My 3 yo wasn't very happy with me. :) we kept well hydrated, so it was good. I was also doing walking side squats using my resistance band, and it BROKE! I'm so bummed about that. But, I'd just finished, so I got a REALLLLY good butt and thigh workout! Yah! :D
 
I hate the heat so I think you're amazing for working out like that. You are doing fantastic! Keep it up!

splurge on my fave dessert for dinner: 1/2 c. low fat vanilla yogurt, 5 sliced strawberries, 1 sliced banana and 1/2 c. granola combined to creamy, crunchy perfection!!! :p I have no idea how many cals.... probably somewhere close to 400. yuck... but it was soooo good! :)

BUT I did blade and jog for a half hour each afterward!! that counts for something. I have a love/hate relationship with going walking and/or blading alone in the park. I love the independance and the workout high I get, but in the evenings there's too many horny teenagers around. :mad:

Totals: cals consumed:1210 cals burned: around 700
Despite my splurge... it was a very good day!
 
I forgot!

I also did an hour of trices, biceps and abs... not sure what that caculates to... but has to be between 100 and 200??

Yeah, cat calls, hollers, whistles... ugh. Being married, I can't properly enjoy the attention. lol... j/k ;-) actually, before I was married and not a Christian, I used to like it, but now it's more demeaning in my eyes... like they think I'd be flattered. All I feel is violated. ick.

Wednesday

Today I'm feeling like eating crap. I'm going to the lake with my kids and picking up Sonic sounds sooooo good! ugh.

For breakfast I had 1 serving of Total and skim milk - 140
low carb yogurt - 60

we're packing a lunch so it'll probably be a turkey wrap and light mozzerella stick - 190

Swimming and chasing my kids around the lake will be a great workout. Cna't wait! :)
 
Yesterday - Wednesday

Whew... WHAT A DAY!! yeah, for breakfast I had 1 serving of Total with skim milk and a banana in it, 250, low carb yogurt- 60 and water

Lunch: turkey in 1 slice of light bread- 100, raw spinach - 30 with 3 spritzes of red wine vinagrette- 3, diet coke and lots of water

Snack: sugar free pudding cup- 60, apple- 50 and more diet coke

Dinner: YOU'LL NEVER BELIEVE THIS! lol... after the 4+ hours of swimming, laying out, and playing at the park we went to my inlaws who ordered in pizza. Canadian bacon and pineapple... my favorite! But I didn't eat even one slice!! I'd brought my slim fast high protein meal bar and I ate that while I watched everyone else eat pizza! And this is the weird part... It wasn't that hard for some reason. I knew I'd be totally overful if I ate it and eating my 190 meal bar made me feel so good about myself. I'd been doing so well losing 3-4 lbs a week and I don't want to quit now! Anyways, had to tell that.... :)

After dinner I had a weight watchers carrot cake- 80... I deserved it!! :)

looks like my total comes to: 773... maybe I should have had just one slice.... :) Oddly enough, I wasn't hungry at all. We played for hours at the lake, hung out with my husband's family until almost midnight so I was dog tired, but not hungry. I'm loving this. :)
 
Thursday

I'm down to 127!!!! ::happy dance:: It's so exciting to see the lbs just melt away as I've started eating better and exercising! The exercise has made all the difference. I was at a plateau of 131 and a little over a week of daily running, tennis, walking, swimming, roller blading or workout video.. whatever I decide to do that day, I've lost 4 lbs!! I've got goosbumps just thinking about it.

Having this board to keep me accountable has really helped my eating habits. I have a lot of friends around me that I share things with that makes me keep on track too. It's great to have such a wonderful suppot system.

Ok, today I'm lightheaded... I did a workout that I tivoed from fit tv first thing this morning.... it was just under an hour since it skipped the commercials... then around 12 before lunch, I went walking/jogging with my friend. I'm trying to work up to running the whole time, but I'm just not there yet. I did about 15 min. I was just too tired in the Texas heat to do any more than that. I think it was a little over a mile.

To eat today... for breakfast: low fat multi grain waffles (2), with 1/4 c. yogurt and 4 sliced strawberries - 240 and 1 c. skim milk- 90 . Great alternative to regular waffles and syrup, btw!! yummy... almost like strawberries and whipped cream, but more filling.

After my walking I had turkey - 50, light mozerella stick - 60 and low carb yogurt - 60. And of course lots of water with lunch and between!

Like I said I'm a little lightheaded, so I'm thinking maybe more cals today?? I balk at the thought, but I need my energy. :p
 
Wow, you're dropping the weight really fast!!

But if you need the energy, definitely up your calories (they seem pretty low) because (I'm telling you this from experience) your metabolism will probably slow down and you'll plateau again....not nice, but that's the way our bodies work! :D

Keep going strong!

Cecilia, I know what you mean. I REALLY don't want to plateau again but I'm hoping to knock out these last lbs quickly with the low cals and exercise. I'm going to start varying my intake slightly to (click on the 7 day calorie cycle) Does anyone know if this really works? I'm interested to find out. :)

So, I had a bad afternoon/evening.... so I don't have to bore you with the details, you can read about it ... anyway, I recovered (hooray!!) and totaled about 1100 cals. Woot! ;-)

Ok, so the scary movie (Hostel) my husband was watching is over so I can log off now... I always do someting else when he instists on watching those. lol... though the pc is in vew of the tv so I saw most of it, but I was also able to ignore the parts I wanted. :) It actually wasn't creepy scary at all... just really gory! Pretty lame storyline though... ok, signing off now.
