A new beginning...

Sorry to gross everyone out with the 5lb tub-o-fat, but it had to be done! :)

Its the last day.. HOORAY!! Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life. :) Ok..so technically that might be Monday since Monday is my first day on the new job. Who cares! And yay they're bringing in lunch today for my last day. I brought in muffins for breakfast.:) Yummy!

Breakfast: poppy seed muffin, 300 calories
Lunch: turkey sandwich w/ bacon on wheat bread.. 300-400 calories??
Dinner:out for dinner, pan seared chicken with rosotti(sp) & margarita, calories??

Tonight is date night with FH and also a celebration of my last day. :) I am really looking forward to getting a little snazzy dressed up and having dinner out. I think it will be a salad or something really light for me tonight. Don't want to spoil the calorie load today. ;)

Breakafast: Blueberry muffin 250 calories

Woooo! I've got a full day ahead, cleaning the house and mowing the lawn and hopefully a run later! Although all this cleanin and mowing ought to get me a lot of exercise ;)

Exercise: walked the dogs for 40 minutes 9,301 steps! ;)
Water:32oz
Lunch: 350 calories

Babysat my girlfriends 2yr old. That was fun! Got my steps up to almost 10,000 steps already today!! And its only 3pm :D We took a walk and played outside for awhile. After that and my dogs walk today, I feel pretty good. Did some squats and lunges today too!!

I love babysitting, especially when they are well behaved children - but no too well behaved because then they're boring! You know what I mean though, the ones that have a little spirit too them but without being little hellions :p No wonder that you got nearly 1k steps taken in just a few hours!
 
Hey! I hope your friend appreciates you - that is so nice of you to babysit for her! I wish I had that. Not so much for the break from my kids, but people we know seem only to be interested in my husband and me and not too interested in our kids. I guess that would change if they had kids, but then they would be focused on their own kids. Oh well!
Good luck getting through this transition time - I know it can be stressful. You'll do great!

Hey guys! Sorry I've been MIA for a wee bit! Still hanging in there, just need to hit the gym and get back on a new schedule!!

Chris, exactly, with this new job startin today and training, I really don't have access during the day until I get home! :) So at least we'll stay on track!!

Breakfast: wheat bagel 300 calories
Lunch: Deli Sandwich & 1 hershey kiss 400 calories
Dinner: baked ziti with meatballs 500 calories?? I dunno!!
Dessert: vanilla light ice cream 200 calories

Hi, NL, hope your new job is going well! I've been MIA as well - took a bit of a break from both dieting and the forum. Looks like you've done well on Monday.
