Thanks all for joining so far and I will put you on your desired team where requested. Thanks to those with no preference so we can make the teams even. But I have been put on teams before where my friends were all on other teams and I figured its more fun to duke it out with your friends on your team.
First weigh in will be on Tuesday.
No particular eating plan is necessary, but you MUST have your own specific thought out plan. Either you are counting calories or you are eating only certain types of foods or following some food plan of some sort (e.g eating only 3 healthy meals and 2 healthy snacks or something like that). We all know when we're having a good diet day and when we're binging or eating too much unhealthy or fattening stuff. So yes, there is some self-monitoring and honor system here but we're all here to reach our goals so if we fudge and aren't honest with ourselves, we will lose out in the end. Again, having one unhealthy snack in a day wont derail our diet or getting our points for the day. Like today, I had some Smart Food popcorn BUT I rationed out one exact portion and it totally worked with my calories for the day. Had I ate that popcorn indiscriminately without monitoring my intake or eating that as my lunch (like I did the day after xmas where I ate 3 meals that added up to only 1600 calories but each meal consisted of a cupcake or other snack food), such behavor would not be deserving of points and we will need to fess up. I am talking so much smack but I'm the first one to throw my plans to the wind and dig in to my desired food. Hence why I'm hoping this challenge will keep me in line.
