ok my idea is to do 1 hour of an activity/excersize you've never done before... so maybe if you've never tried yoga sit in on a class and give it a try! maybe try playing a new sport! look at the challenge sheet see what other people are doing and try picking something someone else is doing... it always good to give the body new challenges
 
I like the trying new exercise idea, especially since I plan to next week anyway, but my idea is points for protein intake; simply because I cannot figure out a way to do it "correctly", so would gladly give someone 5 or even 10 points if they could get 1 gram per pound of goal weight consistently.
 
I like the protein idea too, its sooo important to maintaining healthy blood sugar level which really affects my hunger level!

that would give us fruits/veggies plus protein, excercise, and moral support that sounds like an awesome week!!
 
The trying something new is cool.. but I already do a lot of different things so I don't get bored with my work out and I live in a really small town and there is no gym or place I could go and take a class with something different.

I like the fruit and veggie idea.. we all probably need more of them. I know I have personal goals of eating them but never eat enough.. and a challenge for it might kick my butt in gear!!
 
I just edited column "F" in the spreadsheet to add in week 5 points. You should notice a big bump in your cumulative points. Sorry, I must have been asleep at the wheel last week when I added in week 5 (forgot to update the cumulative formula to include week 5). Anywho, we are all good to go now!!
 
I'll add in week 6 to the spreadsheet later today or early tomorrow and update the formula for our cumulative weight loss to include week 5 results.

It's our last week!! Let's kick some butt!!
 
BONUS CHALLENGES FOR FINAL WEEK

1. 5 points for each additional hour of exercise over the standard 4 hours, up to a max of 3 hours.

2. 5 points if you post your daily food in a separate food posting thread that I will create.

3. 5 points if you post at least 5 times in your chat thread on 4 different days.

4. 5 points for 5 or more daily 1/2 cup servings of fruit or veggies.

5. 5 points for eating 2/3 of your goal weight in protein.
 
I'm building a grace period into items 4 and 5 above so you need to eat your protein and veggies 6 out of the 7 days of the week rather than the whole 7 days. This way if people dont see the challenge posting today they wont miss out, and people wont be de-motivated from one lil slip up.

I have a few questions
for #3 does 5 times on 4 days mean a total of 20 posts or just a totalt of 5 spread out over 4 days?
and for #5 I have a goal weight of 150 on my ticker but essentially when all is said in done i want to be 130... so i guess i should go with 130?

Just 5 posts in total on 4 different days.

Your true goal weight is fine. Or whatever you want to do that involves a bunch of protein.
 
Awesome that explains my one question about not being able to access it! lol

Is it possible for me to use this template so I could still keep track after week 6?
 
Week 6 is now in the spreadsheet. I also updated it to add in our weight loss points. So when you access the spreadsheet it will be a snapshot of what the points look like in total with the weight loss points (column "K" has our total points including weight loss points).

If you have not entered in your ending weight for week 5 please enter it in to column "BG" so we can have an accurate weight to calculate weight loss points on. Right now I manually typed your ending weight from week 4 into week 5 (shows zero loss) so that the formulas would work. Again, please update at your earliest convenience.

We have some cool challenges this week. Make sure to check them out. I've summarized them on the "Bonus Challenges" tab.

It's the last week of the challenge...time to pull out all of the stops and go big!
