hi kurt, was hältst du von davon???haben ja schon mal drüber geredet, aber der henk kraaijenhof(u.a trainer von merlene ottey) sieht das ja als wunderding....wird vermutlich einiges kassiert haben
:
Of course the Nemes can be used for warming-up as we do before training and even before competiton.
But why than weightlifting or plyo's if you can do a warming-up instead?!
Experiment: EMg electrodes one on gastrocemius(calf) other on vastus lateralis(quad). Now go and sit in legpress, load it with lots of weight and push as hard as you can for 4 secs while you cannot move the weight(too heavy).
Now your brain sends 100% signals to those muscle called MVIC (maximum voluntary isometric contraction).
Now stand on the Nemes in semi-squat position 110-110 degrees in knee while switched off.
EMG of those muscle 20-30% of MVIC. Now switch the machine on and you will see 250-300% of MVIC in gastrocnemius and 150-180% of MVIC in vastus lateralis!!! This means recruitment of all muscle fibres in those muscle, also those of a high firing threshold, the FT fibres which normally don't come into play!
Imagine strongmen competitions: car lifting like deadlift, put the electrodes on quads or arms.
You will find a 100% of MVIC, how long can you hold that? Top of the bill if you make it 40 secs isometrically!
No 1: tremendous load on ligaments, tendons and joints, huge risk of injury
No 2: you depleted your energy reserves
No.3 you need a lot of motivation.
Now look back to the Nemes: much higher EMG output, so all fibres recruited, no risk of injury and you won't be tired.
Andf as you will have read: afetr 10 times 1 mninuten in 14 healthy men, testosterone increased by 7%, growth hormone by 460% and cortisol dropped with 32%.
Serious research done by Carmelo Bosco and Atko Viru. Peer-reviwed publication.
And indeed, they were shocked as well!
More info to come.
hältst du derart drastische wirkungen für möglich???
