True. I'm just saying that lifting isn't the best thing for it. Over time the skin becomes weak, and that's not a good situation. I'm not trying to be negative here, just saying what could happen.
 
I don't think it's due to poor fiber intake.

Lifting heavy weights sometimes causes hemorrhoids. Also, sitting on the toilet too long can cause it too. The problem with most doctors advice is that they don't know what you did. They can only guess, and in my experience, most doctors tell you some sob story.

Best thing to do is simply stop lifting weights or pushing too hard for a little while. You can also buy a ring to sit on, if it's painful.

The problem is, docs really don't understand the cause totally, but most nowadays don't think it's caused by lifting, sitting a lot for your job etc. (although lifting can definitely make them worse if they are already active) They tend to think diet and genetic factors
