Your Job

Hey im wonderingggg..

Whats everyones job or profession in here? fitness trainer, accountant etc. Or at uni or school :D

Ive got a few options for myself and wouldnt mind hearing some other peoples experiences of their own.

I'm a school kid. My ambition though is the following:
Get a law degree, maybe an accountancy one too.
Become an investment banker/huge city job.
Work 15 hour days.
By the time I'm 30 get million £ bonuses.
Retire at 40. Maybe start up a business. Set up tennis schools or something.

I would like to do some other things too xD. I aim high.

Nil. I'm a student and don't have time for work. I have alot of friends who work when they're not at college/uni and frankly, that would drive me mad having no spare time to relax or go out.

I'm a mom, that's my job. The pay sucks, the hours are insane, but the benefits are pretty good.:p (ok, so actually the pay is pretty damn good since I have full access to my husband's money)

I'm still certified as a trainer (keep up my CEC's,etc), and I'm actually studying for another cert. at the moment. But, I only train two older ladies, once a week at this point, just to keep my status as a trainer at the gym. When my kids are older, I plan on getting back into it.

I went to college studying Accountancy,

Then got a job in Accountancy,

Then lost it.

But I am glad I lost it because it is the most boring job ever sitting in an office all day staring at the same 4 walls. Even in summer when all the hot women are out in their bikinis and mini skirts you would miss out on it all, having nothing but an open window and a desk fan trying to keep you cool.

Now I work part time (on-going to full time) doing property maintenance.

Soooo much more fun than Accountancy, travelling to different places all the time and meeting new people, not to mention looking at all the hot women when working outside :p

I think my sex drive is waaaaay toooo high it has partly affected my career lol

I'm in accounting..yes, it's boring at times. but the company I work for is great and I have lots of vacation time and flexible hours.:)

Research assistant for Economics and Public Policy depts
Networking Technician for Maine School & Library Network
Full time Financial Economics & Business Administration double major

I dont get to sleep as much as I would like

I am a full time student and work as a lifeguard/water safety instructor part-time.

I'm currently majoring in bio/chem...pre-med ****. I am going to be transferring within the next year, and my career choice will probably be decided when I transfer toa certain school. I am thinking of applying to any of the military academies, and none of them (sans Air Force Acad) have good medical feilds. If I get into a UC or something, I'll most likely be sticking with premed.

Got my first personal training job at 18. Worked in the personal training, strength and conditioning, personal training management, club management. All the way will I was 30. (I still am 30).

Most of that was really fun. Had a lot of good experiences (that does not always mean fun.) Ultimately I had trouble in the fitness industry tring to provide the lifestyle and free time I really wanted.

In my late 20's I started dabbling in real estate, the stock market, and web design. Opened my eyed wide up. Now I design websites and draw in different autocad programs.

My wife and I have the privilege of being able to work together and my office is the room next to my bedroom. So everything is really good. :D

I started work as a fitness trainer last year before that I was a competitive surf lifeguard and pool lifeguard also involved in beach ed. I still do this on a voluntary basis. Right now im a fitness instructor and Im happy at the moment.

I also do building and plastering for my father when he needs a hand, I do it for love though!

PE/health teacher for 6th-12th grade. High school soccer coach. Soon to be high school volleyball coach. Self defense instructor.

It doesn't pay (for now), but I consider myself an amateur athlete (Highland throwing).

Next year I'll be adding student to that as I'll be working on my masters in education.

Media Separations and Filter Technology Manufacturing Operator and Apparatus Developer.

I got a swipe card and everything.

I work two part-time jobs. I've been a server at the restaurant of a hotel for 2 years, and am now also working as a front desk receptionist at a local L.A. Fitness.

Other than that, I'm a college student studying kinesiology and nutrition, with plans on transferring to UCLA next year or so; and eventually becoming a well-certified personal trainer and nutritionist.

Oh im hoping to finish my health & exercise science and masters of physiotherapy. Other thing i forgot to add was how much a yearto you get around, im sure that may be to personal for some :D but would be interesting to see the differences across different countries, id love to work overseas one day.

I would just advise, put your heart and mind before your salary.

If you are doing a job you really hate it can be very depressing.

I am doing my tax return today, so boring sifting through paperwork, I can't believe some accountants do this all day every day!

Website manager (glorified customer support), I spend my mornings drinking coffee and waiting to go to the gym and then in the afternoon I just browse the internet for a while reading sports reviews :(

The pay's not bad though :D

Majoring in Accounting and Finance.

Work for a school outfitting company doing...yep, accounting work. Easy money to support my hobbies and then some...:D
