What do you have and do you love it or hate it? I have the LG Vu CU920, and I HATE it. It's touch screen and constantly needs to be recalibrated, the web scroll bar is tiny and doesn't even work, and the keypad screens freeze up and are just awful.

I'm going to get a new phone tonight, so I was wondering what you have and if you would recommend it .. and if anyone is thinking about getting the LG Vu .. DON'T lol
 
I just buy the discounted phones whenever my battery dies. It's cheaper than the battery, so I figured why not. My verizon contracts renews every two years, so at that time, I can get a new phone at a discounted price, and I usually go with the cheapest or free after rebates.

Right now I have a cheap LG phone. However, I have heard that the iPhone is the deal here. So get it! Do it now!
 
i like the razor so much that I have two broken ones on my desk and I cant wait to get another.

pics are great, video is great

but-- i wish i have a keyboard.

can anybody recommend a swaet proof one. that's what really matters

I have an 32GB 3GS iPhone and I absolutely LOVE it! It is the BEST cell phone I have ever had and I've had a ton of them! Not sure what it is like in your area as far as the best signals are concerned, but if you have to opportunity, and the AT&T in your area is good, I'd get me an iPhone!
 
Motorola Razrs are good phones, but lack internet access. Blackberries are okay too. That was my last phone. But, you can't touch an iPhone which is what I have now.
 
Okay thanks all! So far two votes for the iphone. This LG Vu has me so fed up w/ touchscreens .. although I suppose the iphone works differently.
 
I got an iphone .. woot! So far I can't figure out how to use it, lmao. I got 8 GB because I really won't need that much storage. I mainly use it for texting and web browsing. Now .. off to read the manual! Thanks peeps!

I just got the 16g 3Gs like 2 weeks ago and I LOVE IT! I never saw myself wanting an iPhone, and now that I've got one I don't know how I did without one :action4: I needed a new ipod and I wanted a new phone plan and another number, so I decided I'd spoil myself and I'm glad I did. It rocks.

My Verizon contract renews in like 3-4 weeks ('rents pay for that, which is why I decided I needed a new phone that I pay for on my own) If I can get a sweet phone with my upgrade I'll get the free phone and then set up my own account through Verizon. Keep the old number/new phone for work and the iPhone for personal stuff, like when I don't need to be bothered by customers :eek:

Congrats to you too! I also was never really interested in an iPhone. Actually had to opportunity to get a 1st gen one years ago but passed!!???

But my hubby got me an iPod Touch, and then I was just destined to get an iPhone! As luck would have it, my old phone had issues and AT&T credited me the price so I could get a new one and I got my iPhone! :party2:

I do too! I keep having to charge it because I never stop surfing and playing. I don't get wifi yet, though .. everytime I have a chance to join a wifi network I need a password .. I have no idea what I'm doing. lol

LG sucks. LG sucks. LG Sucks. I HATE LG and they have the absolute WORST customer service if you ever have an issue.

lol, Wifi is a wireless connection. I use airport extreme (I have a Mac) and it is my wireless connection to the internet via cable (comcast) so when I am at home my phone can use my wireless connection too to connect. The reason you need a password, is people don't want other people to have direct access to their wifi :D

There are some public places that do not password protect their wifi and if you are near can sometimes get a signal.

I use wifi's around town that are unsecured every day. :)

I live in the suburbs of Charlotte. Swim clubs, office complexes, coffee shops and even many Dr offices around all have unprotected wifis. My favorite is the top of a parking deck in a shopping village. Great views to downtown, no other cars and a full level signal. :)

LOL :) Must be nice...We just use the 3G....well, unless I'm at home, then it's wifi and E *ugh* My house blocks the signal for some reason. AS soon as I step out the door I'm 3G...go figure.....:rolleyes:
 
WiFi has got to be the coolest thing about the iPhone. I've picked up signals everywhere, and it's even better than it remembers them every time you're in the area. My school has WiFi, it's all over downtown, Starbucks, friends houses, etc. The battery life does suck though when you're running an app for a while. Stays full all day if you never touch it :rolleyes:

Any of you guys downloaded Pandora Radio for yours? It's awesome!
 
Yep I use Pandora, I am gonna carry my charger around w/ me though so if I sit somewhere that has wifi I can plug it in .. because my battery always dead since apps are constantly going .. lol
