You favourite fitness Gadget?

My power rack. Years ago, I had taken two 2x6's, cemented them into two 5 gallon buckets and then cut V grooves into the tops of them to be able to get under the bar for squats. Then I would squat inbetween saw horses. Also had to go do chins hanging from the carport outside. So I love my power rack!!!!

I had one of those. I thought they were just for curling in.

Only in what's called "Fitness Supercenters". You remember those places called "gyms" years ago where people would go to lift weights, well now we have these. Kinda like mom and pop grocery stores being phased out with Wal-Marts, etc where not only can you buy groceries, you can also get your eyes checked, tires changed, fast food, taxes done, etc.

So in these "Fitness Supercenters" you can bungee jump, get your nails done, get your baby sat, get a tan, get your palm read, have a few drinks oh and lift weights. In the list of rules and regulations, the power rack is for curls and curls only as squats will wreck your knees and are bad for your back. The curler has to have a six-pack and 12" "guns", has to NOT be able to bench his bodyweight, an ipod cranked to "Lick it like a Lollipop", a Hanna Montana t-shirt and spandex shorts. Also he can ONLY curl an empty bar AND he has to scream for each rep AND he has to stare at his "guns" as he curls.

my heart rate monitor.....Polar RS800....I totally am infatuated with the thing....my life is not complete without starting the day looking at a graph of my efforts on a computer. Words cannot desribe how much I love it....The best stupidly expensive piece of kit I ever bought! :)

This is soo outdate gadget but I still love it. My cell (of the past 2+ years) that allow me to listen to music (radio, and 1 gigabit of stored music) and receive calls when I am needed so I don't get in trouble because, I sneak out working out.

As for workout thing outside of the gym provide, the ab-roller device thing. I am sure you seen guys / girls bring in into the gym. It's basically a tire with handles on each side and costs under $10 but does wonder for shoulder and ab muscle.

Recently, I've bought a forearm contraption (just a handle with rope and metal rod at the end to put weights on at the other end). It does amazing work on the forearm and when I am done, my forearm is pumped and hard as a rock. Additionally, while using it, I tend to flex the bicept and shoulder and becauase of the form, my arms look huge + pumped.

LOVE my garmin and my mp3 player.
