forgot to post yesterday, but today was very likely my fastest puzzle solution ever.
when i don't get even one hit on my opening word, i have a standard 2nd word now.
then it took less than 10 seconds to see today's word.

rats... just looked at the list of already used Wordle words and my second word is on that list... oh well... slight modification will take care of that.

uaed.... FOUND, HOUND. POUND. ROUND, SOUND

left... BOUND, WOUND

wound is an odd word... definition seems to only mention the pronunciation that rhymes with tuned.... the word that indicates an injury. but i play with old spring "wound" (rhymes with most other __ OUND words) cast iron locomotives. winded (not out of breath.. .the other winded like in all winded up) is apparently acceptable, but it sounds awkward.

amazes me that anyone can learn English as a second language... lol.

Winded to me just means out of breath, but what do I know?

This morning's was really annoying as I discounted this word as I know English, English, not American "English". Very frustrating!
