I'm starting to fantacize!!! ghaghahahahhh

Probably the worst exercises to do in the gym would include isolation exercises and bicep curls.

I heard that muscles build naturally in proportion to the rest of the system. So overdoing one muscle would hinder the others.

I see people all day in the arms room at my gym, and I rarely... I mean I haven't seen one person... do squats or deadlift. I do it at least twice a week and I find it far more enjoyable than arm exercises (although I like the bench, incline, and decline).

LOLol
next time i change it, its going to be white briefs so dont rush me :p

okok.. that is funny and scary. I will lay off the briefs now! hahhaah

not that I have laid on them. hhheehehehee

what a thread... I've thought of Deschain clinging on, and PB taking off. hahahaha

oh goawd... I'm dying ova here!!!

I totally agree that focusing on abs is ridiculous. That said, I WOULD like to have some defined abs(along with all the rest of the muscles). I think the reason it's important to me is that in my early thirties I put on weight. That weight was mainly noticeable in the form of a 'gut'. So when I began working out and losing weight, I was always looking at that gut and trying to get rid of it. I cut fat from my face, shoulders, arms, chest, etc. and the 'gut' was the last to go. I still don't really have defined abs(and I won't for a while since I'm bulking now) but I can see them a bit and that feels pretty good after about 6 years of trying to suck in and hide that gut.

Personaly, if total fitness and health is included, I dont have a problem with it. (abs)

The SHEER amount of work to get there, and the amount of maintenance required to stay there (can be identical in certain combinations), should be respected (and im not referring to myself when I say this). I say this in reference to the work necessary to achieve it, not how one may have an over obsession, necessarily. They may have this obsession, but some lose this obsession once they learn the amount of work it requires. There eyes then widen and then the obsession then pops right out.
