Who In Here Is A Student?

Woo, this is an old thread! I'll throw in my two cents anyways:

I'm in my third year of university, doing a bachelor of arts (major sociology, minor psychology).

I'm a college student with 2 more semesters left to go before graduation! Woo hoo! I also work part-time in an office, but when I come back from vacation in January, I'll be applying for another part-time / weekend job working with homeless or families in poverty.

Hopefully the new job will let me become more active and mobile - unlike my office job where I just sit there. I used to work for the Food Bank that fed homeless and people with food stamps working in a warehouse and that always built up a satisfying sweat!

Aimee, what are you studying? Its great that you enjoy work with people who really need help... we could do with a few more people like you in the world ;)

Student 4-Ever

I have my B.S. and an M.B.A. and am currently in my second-to-last semester of a 2-year program.

And I'm probably the oldest one here. :(

I live in a remote area, and enjoy taking online courses, so I'll probably continue to do that.

Graduated from High School in 2003...just started college last semester.

So...full-time student, looking for part-time job (and can't find one!!!)

Dropped out of high school. Got my GED and started college 6 years later to get an easy tech (auto mechanic or welder) degree and get out ASAP. Ended up spending 6 years for undergrad and now a 3rd year medical student, class of 2007! School rocks, don’t ever stop learning, and never think your stupid because of poor grades. I was lucky enough to learn that grades don’t make you who you are. And to stay in line with what this forum is about, never think your weight (big or small) determines who you are either.

The professional student

I was homeschooled since I was 10, and just recently got my GED. I'll be going to the community college that's about 5 minutes away to (hopefully) get an Associates degree of Arts, and the program of study being Social Science. I can't wait for the Summer semester to begin :D

I was gonna post that I just got out of college, but now I realize that I graduated over 3 years ago.

I guess I'm officially an "adult" or something!

(runs away crying and screaming!)

NoooooOOOOOOooooooOOO! Not adulthood! :p

I'm hoping to go back to school, even though I'm an old lady! Do I count? I want to go back and finish off a Business degree so I can get an office job. Sounds boring doesn't it? I like office jobs!

If you go to community college you certainly won't feel old at all. I am 20 (21 in 22 Days!) and was feeling old...but then seen people in their 40s...so I'm not that old.

I'm a full time highschooler. -Gah- I can't wait to graduate and get away from all these immature kids.

I feel dumb replying but I graduated 6 years ago and now I am a stay at mom and wouldn't have it any other way. I do plan on going back to school to be a Nutritionist in a few years though! :)

Is anyone else bogged down with mid semester assignments and exams right now? Makes for NO time to get excercise. Every waking minute is spent with a book!

I'm getting stir crazy from all this studying. I did walk to and from the library today though.... helped me concentrate later.

Wishing all of you best of luck with all the upcoming schoolwork.

Ugh, I know what you mean Tamschro, I have three exams by wednesday next week! I am so thankful that I have a week off from school to relax after!
