You better believe if Led Zeppelin does a reunion tour I will be there. Same with Pink Floyd.

You and me both!

Not meaning to hijack my own thread, but I'm curious to see how old people think I am based on who I've seen in concert.

It's definitely easy to tell the age gaps based on the types of concerts I would say! However, with that being said, I'd probably go see half the concerts my parents go to as well :p

I was a teenybopper, but I think I would have loved to get in those pants anyway, haha.

I just saw him in October on the Magic tour. Did two nights at the United Center, but I only went to the first night (saw Elton 15 times last year including Tokyo, so I am broke). Going to most likely see Bruce in Milwaukee this March.

Just saw you were the one who has seen Bruce over 100 times. You must do a lot of traveling and/or be on the east coast. I'm sure you have lots of good stories. Elton's my main concert. I know people that have seen him hundreds of times (one over 200). We've thought about writing a book about all the people we've met and stories from traveling seeing concerts.

I grew up in Jersey in the 80s - it was a state law that you spent your summers at the meadowlands watching bruce in his prime - or even better summers at the jersey shore and the Stone Pony...

the good ole days...

If you haven't seen bruce in jersey -you haven't seen him the way he's meant to be heard...

We've thought about writing a book about all the people we've met and stories from traveling seeing concerts.
A few years ago, at a very small museum in Newark, New Jersey, there was a photo exhibit of Bruce's tours over the years with pictures of the fans and a lot of people's remembrances of the shows... I think it was eventually going to be a coffee table type book...

My first concert was something called the Smash Hits Poll Winners Party in 1999, it was an award show by the magazine Smash Hits - my fondest memory is that Britney performed there, hehe. And Tom Jones...among many others.

Wheatus not long after,

In 2003 i saw Evanescence and met Amy Lee before the gig, she was one of the nicest people i've ever come across ( :p),

Hanson in 2003, possibly a highlight of my life!

Evanescence again in 2004,

Busted and McFly in 2004,

I saw Avril Lavigne in 2004, we met her afterwards too, she was really short and sweet and i got given her guitar plec by a security guard lol

I saw McFly again in 2005,

And then McFly again in 2007 (McFly are a firm favourite if you couldn't tell)

I think that's all of them? There's a few of others but mainly English bands and singers...

Hanson huh...were you screaming mmmbop at the top of your lungs?
