Where have you lived?

Where have I lived? Well.....

I used to always hear about those world traveller types who lived in other countries and learned new cultures and languages and things and never thought it could be me. Well, now it is! Here is my list:

Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
At 20 I moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada for 6 years
Back to Edmonton for 8 more years
In Dec 2003 I took a 1 week ESL course, a month later was on a plane for:
Yulin, Guangxi Province, China - 6 months there (small city near Vietnam)
then moved to:
Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China (right next door to Hong Kong)

And I liked it so much, that 3 years later, I am still here......

From here I have travelled to all sorts of cool places, had adventures like I dreamed of and met many cool people from everywhere else on the planet.

And yep, I can now also speak Chinese....

born on the wirral (merseyside) -england, then clwyd (north wales), london, sydney (and various other parts of oz) and devon (england). also spent a few months in india in my younger days if that counts

We have been in West Africa for nearly eight years now. I like it pretty well, but I sure wish I could get Diet Dr. Pepper here!

My husband and I want to travel the world...so as soon as he gets back from Iraq we'll be off again :) (Luckily he's a pilot so traveling wont be that bad)

Various places in southern England - London, Surrey, Berkshire, Devon and currently, Cornwall. I've lived in at least 10 different houses in the last 10 years. But I hope to stay in Cornwall for a long time.

I also lived in Ireland, near Dublin, for a couple of years when I was a kid.

Jim dandy's was never my thing - but the stewarts off of belleville turnpike -oh yummy :)

I moved out about 2 years ago - and I swear - i've not had good fresh mozzeralla since...
