What's on your Ipod?

Reggae as always

What is it with Brits and reggae? When I lived there I noticed it was a lot more popular with the mainstream than here in the US.

For a H.I.I.T workout it the good ol' faithful "Faithless"
When I am lifting weights i tend to hit some heavy rock, "disturbed- Inside the fire" has been getting some eartime with me there.

But before I paddle out for a surf, I get into some old school blues or soul...whiteboy has to get his groove on somehow!

Pink Floyd, Elliott Smith, King Crimson, Wilco, Pavement, Electric Light Orchestra and a bunch of other stuff I'd bet no one has ever heard of

Hah, which iterations of Crimson? Greg Lake era? Tony Levin Era? Crimson is slick stuff.

Ever listen to any Liquid Tension Experiment?

I guess more of the Greg Lake stuff. In the Court of the Crimson King, Larks Tongue in Aspic, Three of a Perfect Pair... it's all good, that's just what I've listened to more, and I love it.

I've heard of Liquid Tension Experiment through an old coworker, never got a chance to listen, I'll check them out though. Any recommendations?

Only 2 albums currently available, Although I saw Tony Levin live a few moths ago, and I guess they plan on doing some kind of reunion. LTE 1 and LTE 2, that's it. Freedom of Speech, and When the Water Breaks are both great tunes.

And yeah 21st century schizoid man is one on my faves, but I like it done live best. BTW, Crimson is reforming. Fripp (of course) Tony Levin, Gavin Harrison (porcupine tree - pretty good band) and Adrian Belew.

A large Carribean population. I think London has the largest Jamaican population outside of Jamaica. Toronto being second...which is why reggae stays on my ipod too :)

Right now the albums I listen to most on my iPod:

Whoops, I just read that the OP wanted what's on our iPod for work-out songs, lol.

So far as working out, I have the faster-paced songs of the above artists that I posted. the majority are from Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Dannii Minogue, BoA, Hilary Duff, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, M.I.A., Michael Jackson (his megamix is awesome!), Rihanna, The Pussycat Dolls, & Thalia.

i LOVE house music! Closest thing i've seen on your lists are Daft Punk and Scooter. My favorite DJs include David Guetta, DJ Antoine, Alex Gaudino, Global Deejays, Laurent Wolf and Fedde Le Grand.

When working out house music is especially motivating...let me give you all a couple youtube links so you can take a listen!

(you may have heard this)

Some of my favorites anyway!

As for outside the House genre, i absolutely LOVE Kanye West! Some of my other favs are City and Colour, Billy Joel, Tom Petty, Dixie Chicks, T.I., Jay Z (his witty and intelligent lyrics get me every time like "you can pay for school but you can't buy class" love it!) Chris Brown (don't hate on me for liking him...as I'd say in french "j'men colisse de sa vie personelle!" or "i like his music so i dont give a sh#! about his personal life!") . Recently my guilty pleasure has been Taylor Swift!

Needless to say, a bit of everything!

I don't have an iPod. I refuse to ever own one too. Yeah, I'm "THAT" guy, MWWWUUAHAHAHA!!!
