You just make me sound like one lol. How else am I supposed to say it? Read the rest of my post. I did my best to make sure I DIDN'T sound like a ****, but with you coming in here and saying that, there's no way out

Right, I realize that. Just don't get caught up in "fat loss workouts." Sure you can do some that will maximize the benefit, and I totally agree. Hell, I was going to do NROL's fat loss program before I got surgery. The main thing there is just higher reps and short rest periods. But people lose fat doing 3x5 programs too.

But again, diet is so much more a factor. Even if you burn 250 calories doing your workout, think about what that equates to. I'm with you on building muscle being great, but that also doesn't burn as much as you think. I'm not knocking it at all. Building muscle is great. I'm just trying to get my point across that diet is the most important and not to get all OCD (not that you are) about HGH stimulation, fat burning exercises, low weight high reps, etc.

You're going for muscle gain right now, correct? JW

I definitely realize and understand that low weight, high reps to achieve fat burn is BS for the most part, and that it depends mostly on your diet. With HST, you make sure that with each set, the weight is heavy enough where you always fail around 7-10 reps.

I'm interested in mostly fat burning exercises, because I have fat to burn, and I wish I had a leaner frame.
I'm interested in HGH stimulation, because I want to maintain my youthful looks. :jump1: I'm 36 years old and thanks to some good genes I guess, I have youthful looks. In my opinion, that's something to be proud of and feel good about. So if I drop another 20+ pounds and get my body fat percentage down under 10%, I can definitely look and most importantly feel like I did when I was in high school. With the amount of responsibilities I always have to do and take care of by myself, that goal to have that kind of energy level is almost a must for me.

So there you have it! :)

after all, I didnt even react to you calling me "absurd" ;)

I'm not trying to put you down at all. You're clearly not ready to accept your inexperience, but it's true. If you don't do those and don't know of those other exercises and why they're beneficial, you've got work to do. I'm not nearly an experienced lifter either. It's not a bad thing. But it's important to know where you stand so that you can use the right tools for your goals. I would implement the rows. However, you don't seem to like my input lol, so you don't have to listen. Just trying to help.

29.33 - 35.4 depending on the TUT :)

If I didn't like your input, I wouldn't of double checked with you about the form by posting that video, and I wouldn't of stated that I was going to try and do them now, which in turn is recognizing the benefits.
So you are misinterpreting my interpretation of what you were presenting to me...such as the internet. :yelrotflmao:

Oh and as far as calorie burn, 1500 I'm not sure about, but I know I can burn anywhere between 500-800 calories for each of my workouts. Along with my HST, I do at least an hour of cardio each too.

Touche. Glad I could be of service :)

hmmm

wonder what the cal burns are for weight lifting, I don't know.

If a person weighs 190, and lifts 3 sets if 8 at 225, how many cals did they burn?

Don't forget about how it helps with the acceleration of your resting metabolism too, which is the greatest benefit.
