What do you do for a living?

I was an electrician for 7 years, then after finishing my engineering degree I worked for 3 years at a powerplant. I hated it and am back in school to become a teacher.

I do collections. Been in the industry for years. Used to do Auto Lending work, reposesssions and such (midnight creepy crawler guy) then commecial banking loans, then ended up as a credit manager business (suit) for many years with a big company, and now I am in the 3rd part collections business as sales guy.

I make sales calls and take care of clients who have people that owe them money.

tittie twister!

No career yet. But I do work at McDonalds for some money.

I plan on going to a small community college for 2 years (can't affort big college) and get a associates degree in business administration and then transfer to a University and get my MBA.

Then I don't know where to go from there. I'm gonna try to find an internship program somewhere after football (for accounting or something)

I also make extra income with stuff I do online.

I spent 6 years as a Seabee in the Navy, doing military construction. Got my degree in Information Technology while I was in, got out, got a job as a Software Engineer for a defense contractor, and been doing that for 2 years. Quite a different change of pace, hence why I put on 20+ pounds heh....

Are you Army reserve? Doesnt seem like you could be full time with all those other side projects... Either way, thanks for serving.

I also was going to pursue physical therapy, until yesterday that is. I realized I dont really want to pursue that long of school for a backup career. My first option is fitness bootcamps, and I am going to finish school and pursue a gym teacher cert.

Yeah I'm in the reserves, re-enlisted today 6 more years, haven't decided if im happy about it yet lol. Yeah the schooling for physical therapy is a mildly long route but I figured what the heck I have a long life to live I might as well spend a few years in school and have a job afterwards doing something I love.

Oh hell, I'm a dietitian. I spent about 2.5 years in sales. No better way to kill yourself than that. Now I'm back in the swing of things. Eating right, teaching others to eat right depending on their disease conditions etc. I love it. A few more months and I'll finally be where I once was. No rushing it. I've got all the time in the world. Good luck all, Greg

Civil Engineer over here. I do roadway design, construction inspection, surveying and soon will be a water tower inspector (once I finish my tower climbing certification in September) I am also a volunteer firefighter in my town. Yes I know it's not a "job" but it takes enough of my free time between calls, schools, training and EMT class to count as one.

How cool, you were working at a power plant and weighed 300 lbs! Did anyone call you Homer? ;)

ROFLMAO, no but I am not slow and lazy lol. Just heavy and strong. Besides you should have seen the people that worked as the control room operators. One looked like Uncle Fester, the other would fit the stereotype of a pedofile, and the other the typical red nosed drunk. Was a regular freak show. This was an older coal fired plant. I doubt any of these people would have been able to get jobs at the nuke plant across the river based on the stories I heard while there. They would never have passed a background check.

I moonlight as an oiler
