im working shifts so my meals are all upside down. yesterday i had a biiig bowl of oatmeal with skim milk for lunch as i got up late:for dinner a chicken curry, salad and a multigrain bagel. lunch today i had a bowl of lentil and tomato soup with w/grain bread. dinner was chicken breast in a tomato and basil sauce, w/grain rice, peas and sweetcorn. now i want something sweet, got some little frozen ice cream things in the freezer... goes off to get one....
 
Supper/Dinner:
10 oz lean sirloin steak rare
Homemade Wheat bread
Broccli
Cauliflour
Water

Breakfast:
Apple
Green tea
Wheat toast with peanut butter

Lunch today:
Tuna fish sandwich on wheat Light Mayo
1 apple
Green tea
 
Dinner last night was a veggie saute w/
broccoli, mushrooms, zucchini, tomatoes on a toasted whole wheat pita bread w/ goat cheese on top...

The saute' sounds wonderful! Have any other low cal ideas? I just started yesterday...How long have you been dieting and how are you doing?

I'm not dieting - what i've done is a lifestyle change and a result of that I've lost over 180lbs :D in about 16 months

I've got bunches of recipes posted in the recipes section but really I just kind of throw togther stuff with whatever suits my fancy - it just better have flavor and not be boring
 
Last nights dinner
broiled salmon w/ reduced fat sour cream w/ lemon and dill
roasted beets w/ garlic, balsamic vinegar, and a sprinkling of asiago cheese
 
Sunday Lunch:
1 whole grain roll fres from the bakery, with goat cheese, fresh basil and an incredibly ripe tomato

Dinner
2 cups eggplant - diced, 2 cups zucchini - diced, 1 cup mushrooms - diced, 1 cup jarred spicey tomato spaghetti sauce, on 3 ounces of high fiber penne pasta w/ 2 tbs fresh parmesan cheese... ooooh yummy...
 
Lunch : Panera you pick two - 1/2 asian chicken salad with 1/2 chicken tomesto sandwich with an apple

Dinner: Turkey cutlets with aspargus and salad.
 
Monday's Lunch
All natural peanut butter, creamy, 1.5 tbs on whole wheat bread w/ 2 tsp of raspberry jam
1 large apple

Dinner will be
grilled swordfish in a soy wasabi marinade w/ roasted broccoli
 
Okay, I know this is totally off subject here... but how in the heck do you start a new thread on here???? I see no links anywhere. Am I missing something?

By the way, I had a broccoli and mixed greens salad with teriyaki tuna for lunch, and will have a lean cuisine bbq chicken pizza for dinner. YUM:)
 
Last nights dinner was a beautiful piece of Lake Trout, I can only assume lake michigan but it didnt glow in the dark, so it might have been another lake... broiled

w/ some roasted zucchini, grape tomatoes, and black olives w/ some fresh thyme, lemon juice and a bit of parmesan cheese.
 
I'm really slack, havent even had breakkie yet, thou it is only 9 in the morning..... :D lunch is going to be a yummy salad with cherrie tomatoes, and lots of over stuff... oh and ham, if i can find it in the fridge
 
lunch yesterday
All organic crap :)
2 slices organic whole wheat bread
2 tbs organic peanut butter
1 tbs organic raspberry jam

the organicness was unintentional :)

1 ugli fruit

Dinner
2 cups roasted broccoli
1 tomato, sliced
7 ounces ground turkey mixed w/ sliced mushrooms and spinach and broiled as a burger
 
breakfast: plain non fat yogurt with dried cranberrys
lunch: brown rice pasta with pesto
dinner: fried fish and green salad with olive oil
dessert: JELLooooooooooooooooo :hurray:
 
Grilled salmon w/ herbs du Provence
w/ a white bean, tomato, cucumber salad and a dressing made of walnut oil, lemon juice, dijon mustard
 
Breakfast:

2 hard boiled eggs
1 cup of Kashi Go Lean w/ skim milk

Lunch:

I missed it


Dinner:

Thai peanut chicken wraps (homemade peanut sauce, grilled chicken, diced tomatoes, cilantro sprigs, shredded carrots, sliced jalapenos, grilled pineapple, and a multigrain tortilla)

I had dinner guests and the wraps were a real hit.
