I tried reading his Dark Elf series, but found them blaise. I got through the first, but when I read "blender of death," I put it down. In a medievel, magical realm, blenders don't seem to fit.

I will note the worst book I've ever read was also a TSR publication, the Avatar series, which was so bad, I only got through 1/3 of the first book and threw it out.
