Walking 4 hours a day ---

I notice that this post was years ago. I'll reply to it anyway :) 4 hours a day is what I would consider obsessive by all means and the beginnings of an eating disorder. Not good to try 4 hours a day 5 days a week. Walking is good but that many hours will end up hurting you in the long run if you try and keep this sort of workout up. High intensity in a small amount of time would do what you want in 4 hours. There's no way to keep the same stamina for that long and after about an hour your body actually slows down. I am an endurance athlete so I do work for a longer amount of time but at a slow pace. Even at a slower pace I could not do 4 hours a day that many days a week. Besides it becomes your life which in turn gets really mundane after a while and quite boring & consuming.
 
Walking for that long is very ineffective and unessessary. Fat loss is related to intensity so you need something that makes you work harder for less time!
