8th grader with a hoops scholarship? Wow. Funny thing is, Culver Indiana is about 10 minutes from my hometown. Only big school I know there is the military academy.
 
Ran across this site today and it got me excited. I only knew of one Farmers Market in the area, which was about 20 minutes away. Now I found 3 within 10 and a community farm. ^^^^in sweet!!
 
YEAH, local produce is the ^^^^. Im going to start chucking some lime etc into my vege garden soon yum yum. What sorts of veg you get this time of year?

I just went and played some basketball for the first time in about 10 years. Holy crap was I worn out after 1 hour. I played 1 on 1 with a dude who was about 35-40 and he smoked me. I had already been playing for about 45 min when he got there, but damn it was tough.

Gotta keep going though.

Some people are asking me for advice regarding their lives and their situations. Here's some advice I'm stealing from Nike: Just do it. It really is that simple.

You don't want to be fat anymore? Change your diet. Just do it. Train your ass off. Just do it. You want a new PR in the deadlift? Just ****ing do it! There's no magic potion anyone can give you. It takes blood, sweat, and a lot of tears. You just have to be willing to go beyond.
 
So today I am off from work. My wife had some people over with their kids to play and do girl stuff. I was gonna go play basketball but I have some bball scheduled through my meetup.com group at 6pm. So I decided to hit the gym, first time in like 2 months lol.

Did some big circuits, mainly twisting and standing based movements. I hope I dont get sore by tonight from a few deadlifts.

wow dude! Why don't you lift very often?
 
I went through that stage pretty hard as well, I think thats why we made our sleds isnt it tony? I still hit the gym four times a week but I dont enjoy it anymore I would much rather flip my tyre or drag my sled!
