Unfinished Business

I have a question for all: what is the big deal about how many posts someone has? Yes, sometimes all he would do is write "Rock on!". Who TF cares? It's positive. It's encouraging. I'm sorry but in my opinion, it's CHILDISH to complain like this....you guys obviously have nothing better to do than to complain and whine about someone who has more posts than you and who is THE most supportive person on this forum. This situation is a bunch of bull. There are too many touble makers on this forum.

When I first came here, Chillen was the first person who contacted me and welcomed me. When I was discouraged or upset Chillen was the first person to lend an ear, support me. When I was excited Chillen was the first person to share in my joy.

If you all have a problem with Chillen, then you must be sad. Chillen has HEART. He genuinely CARES about the other members of this forum, which I CANNOT say about everyone here. Everyone here can learn a LOT from Chillen and his leaving will be an incredible DISSERVICE to this forum.

I know there are a lot of professionals on this forum. That's great. I'm glad that there is a place people can go to learn from the best. But if this is the best......I'd rather stay in the dark.

So, does anyone know if he actually left? He never said anything that clearly indicated that. I really hope he didn't. I would be really sad if that were the case. :(
 
Why is everyone whining about rep? Its like when people whine about others lying in the deadlift chart, its the internet.

Who said who left?
 
I just don't think people know what's going on, and are jumping to conclusions. The only reason I talked about rep was because I wanted it to be clear that rep IS FOR FUN and not for judging who is a better member.

Actually, whether " Rock On " etc. etc. is positive or not is open for debate IMO.

After all, some may find terms like that being used in virtually every post as being positive, uplifting and motivating. And, some others may simply find it annoying, vacuous and somewhat immature.

Either way, it doesn't really matter either way - how everyone would view it is different.

I agree 100% with you - the number of posts or reps one has should be irrelevant.

Having a lot of posts don't imply anything either way IMO. For example, one reason people may have a high post count is because some of the threads have evolved into ' chat rooms ' or serve as a ' personal messaging ' venue between members - and as a result posts in these threads become very ' spam like ' and can add up pretty quickly.

I would agree - when it comes to creating supportive relationships with new members - Chillen stands alone.:)

In terms of having the chance to learn a lot from ' the professionals ' on this forum - again, I would agree.

That's threadS...plural. There are two. The original is Chillen's "Chilled but Unfulfilled"

I like Chillen :(

I know some of his posts are long and some are just rhymes and fluff but what is wrong with that?:confused:

IMO, he is a geniunely (sp) nice person, I mean I don't know personally but you can pretty much tell a person's character by the tone of their posts, case in point: TANIZAKI.

I've not agreed with some of the people here at some point or another, just in the boob job thread alone LOL. But I don't think that not liking what someone said is justification for attacking their character...

I talked to him last night, and he said he isn't leaving. I think he is just waiting for the drama to die down or is has real life stuff going on.
 
He didn't leave, he's choosing not to post in this thread.

Wow, why is everyone blowing this out of proportion? Lei and Chillen had a disagreement and no one is helping.

I've just watched all the 4 seasons of OC, there is no more.. I need some drama or else I'll freak out, I'm addicted!
