I eat when I feel nothing. When I'm happy, I keep busy and find things to do. When I'm sad, I go for a walk or talk to friends, or get on the computer. But when I'm in the middle, feeling like nothing much, that's when I mindlessly eat.
I am not an emotional eater either but I am an evening eater. Once the TV comes on in the evening the food comes out - a very bad habit I am trying to break.
I bought new runners! They feel great! I am on day 4 of working out and I am very pumped to lose weight for the holidays! I want to look and feel great for all the Christmas parties.

I think i'm an addict not an emotional anything. If given a chance and the right foods, I can obsess over food and not let it go. Its kind of scary, thats why I'm Vegan it takes out most anything I could possibly be addicted too.
i think of food all the time. it's worse now when u got those mobile TVs on buses. They keep showing celebrities hunting for food shows all the time! and I can't switch them off! Think i need to bring my headphones next time to block out the "It's so yummy!" voices every now and then.
dariqueen - so know how you feel. I only over eat out of boredom! So I found the solution when I am bored I get up off the couch and do something, anything. Clean the house, go for walk, or exercise.
Weigh in 195lbs 1lbs lost. Not as good as I had hoped. I had three times this week were I eat out. Twice for business and once with friends. I made the best choice available and took half home right from the start, but you know those foods even the healthier choices are not as good as food you make yourself.
For me too Gcohl...Mal has us getting points for following our plans every day this week for the halloween challenge, so I'm hoping to do very well this week!
I am down a pound! This is my weigh in day. I am kind of mad at myself because I binged last night (tv and chips) and almost again this morning. I feel awful, I guess that's a good thing. I am off to run even though I am exhausted, grouchy and don't feel like it. Maybe after I will feel better and have a renewed energy.

Okay, sounds great.... I will at this point lose anything i can!! Realistically how many weeks is it about 8? If it is then 2lbs a wk is a grt avg wkly weight loss goal.. So I keep fluctuating from 174-172 this week so I will start at 173 to be in between. So my 16lbs goal should take me to 157lbs but i will shoot for 155 who knows maybe 150!!!!! 2 solid months to eat right and workout sounds good to me... I hope to remember to log my wt in each week if i don't can someone remind me... that will help motivate me also... let's do it....

I weighed in earlier and it read 222. That scale addiction kicked in though and I weighed myself a little later and it read 221 *shrugs*
I'm sticking with the 222 though since that's what it read when I first woke up.

161.5for me!!!! I'm very Happy. Last week I was 165 But no More!!!! Hopefully next week I'll still lose something. Finally all them Billy Blanks workouts are paying off.

I actually think I did pretty good today! Even though i got off to a bad start. I didn’t have school today so I slept till 11 am (blah, I didn’t mean to) so just when i was waking up my mom came home with half a dozen chocolate glazed donuts. I had one and a half (300 cals.) but the rest of the day i did good and ate healthy! (Except for a minuet ago where I had a handful of goldfish)

and yes, I am young, I'm 17, but the women in my family don't have a very good record of being at a healthy weight... I clearly have a bit of work to do, and I'd rather start now than wait longer until I become more used to being heavy. Plus I'll feel better about starting college next fall, and enjoy my senior year more...
