treadmill running is boring

treadmill, although it IS boring. i tend to not care. when i work out, i don't really think anything cept, that my goal's to do my workout routine, and go home ^^,

bring along a mp3 player if your bored running lol
 
Music really helps.
 
I like the outside

luckily for me a local church built a running track around a lake and has it lighted to run at night, it is a nice 1/4 track and has nice curves and inclines. It is really nice. I plan on getting the bowflex tread climber in the future, that looks like fun, but I need to finish my basement off first.
 
The reviews for the treadclimber doesn't seem promising though:

I can't do cardio indoors. Period. It's dreadful! And I perform much better doing cardio outside. For me rainy days are rest days. :)

There's plenty to do outside, so doing cardio inside isn't necessary if you don't enjoy it.

i have another suggestion for iPod downloads, a podcast called podrunner. you can download it for free from . this is a music-only mix of techno and remixes. i like it because then i don't have to create my own mix, and you never know what's coming next. except that it will be to the same pace.
 
In my opinion I prefer running outdoors as well. Simply because it seems to go quicker for me and I feel less confined and basically it makes me feel better. This could be psychological I suppose but when I go on my treadmill I have to play upbeat music, watch tv, or both just to keep going. That's just my own experience. I love running outdoors!
