I love... dude movies. If it weren't for the fact that I like to look pretty, I would almost think I was a guy ;) A good, mindless explosion-filled action comedy is enough to brighten my day. The comedy is even optional.

1 - Die Hard 4 (in theaters, and seriously was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time); the original was pretty rad too. The middle ones were *good* movies, but not my favourites
2 - All the Star Wars movies (yes, even Episode 1!)
3 - Terminator 1 (2 and 3 kinda meh'd me)
4 - Casino Royale (lots of good James Bond movies, but I can't be bothered to remember the names of most of them. The new 007 is YUMMY though! Way cuter than Brosnan)
5 - The Anchor Man
6 - Happy Gilmore
7 - The Incredibles
8 - Zoolander

That's all I can think of for now, but I'll probably come back and edit it as I think of more :)
5 -

Bladerunner, Alien and just about anything else by Ridley Scott
Hellraiser
Star Wars (the very first one and Rtn of Jedi but none of the others)
Chili Peppers Greatest Hits (DVD)
Once were Warriors
Monty Python - Holy Grail
Mad Max I
Gallipoli, soundtrack by Jean Michel Jarre also brilliant

Your favorite movies

Ok sorry if already posted... but i'm interested in some movie recommendations what is your favorite movie genre and what would you say are your all time favorite movies??

Star Wars

Morning,

The Star Wars trilogies are tops in my book - I really resonate with the whole "Force" concept.

"The Last Mimzy" was utterly magnificent - my kids and I had a super time talking about all the themes throughout it (time travel, power of the mind, etc.).

"Harry Potter and the Sourcer's Stone" was magic, pure and simple (I had never even read any of the books prior to seeing the moive). The whole idea about the power of a mother's love is, well, totally true. :)

Enjoy,

Barbara
