...Almost every time I ask a new member what their current cardio program entails, they reply “I walk a few times a week”. Now understand that most people who join a gym and consult with a trainer are typically overweight. If walking a few times a week has not yet yielded results for that person, then there is only one answer. Here is my honest response: “You have been walking for how long now?” and answering for them, “since you were about two years old, correct?”

I wouldn't by any means suggest that you quit walking, but I would like to encourage you to change it up...

As I said though, it isn't consistently the same, and it's certainly not all I'm planning to do for the rest of my weight loss journey, but actually, walking is currently doing very good things for my weight loss, I've seen results, and I know that it's going to work for me because I can feel it challenging my body.

But yes, I do infact plan on starting to swim, I'm just waiting for an owwie to heal up (as per doctor's orders). And eventually on my own terms, weight training. :drool5:

If you are seeing results, great! I like that you are planning to swim, as that will be an excellent addition to your routine. Enjoy the journey!
