Sport Too much water?

Sport Fitness
The point is you will stop drinking before you over drink. There are not too many people in the world that need between 8-10L of water, i choose to chug water when i need it as opposed to drinking constantly which suites me i guess.

:D

The only thing water can do is throw off your electrolyte // sodium balance. Extremely low sodium can cause seizure / coma / death.

You need to drink a SERIOUS amount of water to induce this, well over three times what any person would normally drink in a day, even if you drink a lot of water. Either that or if you combine a poor diet with a major excess of water and diuretics you could pull the same stunt, but either way it is really a non-issue to the average person. The only causes I have heard of people dying from OD on water is from sheer stupidity in a big way (woman who died from drinking gallon after gallon of water to try to win a Wii), or from taking E and drinking way too much water. Don't worry about it.

I thought when your on E you need to drink a lot of water since most people die of dehydration, not excess water.

Both happen. E is a stimulant and thus causes your body to generate a lot more heat. Some people don't drink anything and then become very dehydrated, other people drink way too much and OD on water.

They must be drinking a **** load of water then, because it must be hard as hell to OD on water when your on E and raving for hours straight.

ur cousin is wrong. if you do happen to drink too much water you might have a side effect called frequent urination gdfhgfhgf thats a joke..kind of... and death if you drink like 20 gallons a day but i dont think you will do that now will you.

Sorry but... why do you need to drink that much? Do you get thirsty all the time? That is an usual symptom of diabetes or could be something else. Or could be nothing. My point is maybe you should also think about the reason for drinking that much. If there is a special need, the acceptable amount will change. Do you think you drink much more then the usual person? If so, maybe you need to ask a doctor...

I am constantly drinking water and always have a bottle with me. If your well hydrated and on creatine you can really tell the difference in the gym. I always sweat crazy when i workout and it helps me cool down. I often have water dripping into my mouth and it doesent even taste salty.

I have heard storys of people dieing from to much water. Apparently this one chick was on ecstasy and she drank way to much water.....and died.

Smith i didn't think you drank water...Coz of the retention and all.
