Good morning everyone! Thanks Scarlett and Mrs B for the send off :) And I've missed you loads too Mrs B *hugs*

Cyprus was incredible, but it was felt so much longer than it was. I feel like I've been away for months, which is probably helped with the 34 new emails in my inbox

Best thing I did in Cyprus... wait for it... SCUBA DIVING :D Absolutely amazing! Cypriat waters are so clear, and full of loads of exotic fishies! When we dig out the photos, I'll post up some. It was incredible though, a bit freaky at first, kind of unnatural.

Had some excitement while filling out the medical forms! I had to answer yes to 2 of the medical questions, how fun is that! Both were about ears; ear disease and hearing loss, and operations on ears. I lost 75% of my hearing as a youngster, and whilst growing up had copious operations and even burst my ear drum. It wasn't as painful as people claim :p My hearing's pretty much OK now, but sensitive with pressure. Took me ages to go deeper

Dad proposed to girlfriend on the first night there. It was planned (unromantic sod) so it'll surprised no one that she said yes. I now have a step family. Fun.

Flights were OK, I was really nervous on the way out, but once we'd taken off, I was just plain bored. The way back I got a seat next to a stranger, who chatted to me, which was nice. We even got turbulance on the way back, which livened things up a bit. Didn't like it that much though...

Because there were more refugees brought in from Lebenon yesterday morning, our flight was delayed by over 2 hours. Didn't get home home until gone midnighte, hence not messageing then.

In other news, I weighed myself this morning, and have dropped to 87.4! That's just over a pound lost! We didn't eat a lot in the day time, and we did a lot of swimming as well. The worst night was in Ayia Napa, where we had "tea" at 3 AM

Right, just got time to catch up with everyone before driving lesson.

I've missed everyone so much! It's great to be home!

Sounds like a great trip -- I'm glad you had a great time... and it might of been planned,. but it's stil sweet that he asked :)

Scuba Diving is amazing... if you get the 'bug' of doing it again-- consider a trip to Cuba.. (Americans technically aren't allowed there, so the island is still inexpensive -the diving is amazing - the food was fantastic and the people - while most live in total poverty were so full of life andso friendly - -it's an incredible place to visit... )

BBBBRROOOOOONSKKKKKIIIII!!!!!! Hey missus, you're back!!!! (Sorry, you probably already know ;) )

I am so glad that you had a great time, and even more glad that you have actually lost weight while on holiday (get the smelling salts someone!!). That is fantastic :)

I didn't realise that you had lost most of your hearing .... do you still find that it causes you a lot of problems?

Turbulance sucks :p We had some on the way back from the US and I felt really sick. When you drop and your stomach turns, you are actually moving up and down a few storeys, you just don't realise it!!

Good luck with your driving lessons.

Welcome back ((hugs)), congratulatory ((hugs)), glad you had a good time ((hugs)), you lost weight .... yay ((hugs)) and finally more (((hugs))) just for the hell of it :D

Welcome Back....your friendly voice was well missed. Did you say you LOST a pound while on vacation??? WOW.....just wow!! Good for you!!!

Hope you're having a good day back in the real world. See ya!

Bronsk............Missed you lots. Sounds like you had a blast on your holiday. Must have been scary scuba for the first time. I think that would be loads of fun to do. Great to have you back. Good for you at your one pound lost. Now that is the way to do a holiday. :D

WELCOME BACK!!! Wow, losing weight on vacation. You're my hero.

So glad you had a good time. I know you were a little nervous. You were missed.

Welcome back!! We've missed you a bunch. That's awesome that you had a great time and still lost weight on your trip. I'd love to post more, but it's a sauna in my computer room and I need to shut this thing down.

Oh you guys! I feel so incredibly loved! :D:D Thank you all, you have no idea how much I've missed you all. I know I've already said that, but just to drive it home :p

Kinda crappy really that I'm bombing off again this afternoon :( Well, :) and :(. Visits to Belgium are far and few now because of Uni.

Mal, Cuba sounds fab! Maybe one day I'll explore more than just Belgium. Going to Cyprus was the first time I've been on holiday to somewhere other than Belgium in 10 years

Mrs B, *loadsa loadsa loadsa hugs* back! The hearing thing isn't that much of a problem now, it's just when I get colds or really bad hayfever it goes downhill, then the changes in pressure. It took me ages to equalise while diving, it was just down right embarressing!

Scarlett, exactly my thoughts!! I just stared the scales thinking... hang on, haven't I just been on holiday? Didn't I eat Burger King at 3 in the morning one night? (don't ask!) Maybe there's hope for Belgium...

Jodee, dude, after watching the tutorial video which kept reminding you that if you do one thing wrong *you will DIE!!!* It freaked me, and just doing the practise runs made me panic. I nearly backed out; so glad I didn't! I'd recommend it to any and everyone!

Pineola, *blushes* Aw, calling me a hero :D Seriously, it's all of you who are the heros, I would never have coped going away without the support back here :)

Cannon, a belated welcome back to you as well! Hope your trip was fantastic, can't wait to read about it!

OK, I'm going to try really really hard to get round all the diaries. Everyone else keeps hogging the computer, and I ran out of time before driving lesson yesterday.

Hopefully I'll dive back in a little later. But just in case I don't get chance before going to the ferry, hope you all have a great week, and I'll miss you all again. *great big hugs for everybody!*

K gang, last post before logging off :( Just to say that whilst I'm gone, I'll be thinking of everyone, and the thoughts of you lovely people will keep me going whilst I'm away (again.) Thank you for all your support up til now :) I wouldn't be at this point without all your encouragement.

For those truly madly deeply interested, I've got a few pictures of me scuba diving. Well, my better ones!

Have a lovely, lovely week everyone! And I'll see you all next tuesday/wednsday. Stay cool, gang!

Sounds like you had fun on holiday. And I can't believe it but I missed you again before you left. Well I know you won't read this until your return, but HAVE FUN!!!!!

Watch, she'll come back losing another pound!!!

Good morning everybody!

*ahem*! I'd love to come back having lost another pound, but Belgium is very different to Cyprus, and I hate to say this but I've had chips and crisps and snacks... It's not been a great eating week.

But do ya wanna hear my excuse(s)? First day in Belgium, after a short nap with Top Cat, I started to feel unwell; tummy crampy kinda feeling. So I went to the loo, and although I felt a little better, still felt a bit achy. Top Cat had come down after I'd disappeared for a long time, and went into the loo himself. A few moments later, the cramps came back, but much worse. I called out for Top Cat, and as I did, vision faded and next thing I know, I'm on the floor, Top Cat talking me round.

After initial shocks several thoughts came to mind. First being "This is a tiled floor, why doesn't my head hurt?" Then "Top Cat must have caught me."

"Thank Goodness Top Cat's here... Thank Goodness he's a life guard... Thank Goodness he did a training course yesterday..."

I've been a bit tummy achy still, though I've not fainted/collapsed again. Still no idea why it happened though. Theories are:

a) lots of travelling and shifting time periods
b) new, rich foods after the samely, not so rich dieting foods
c) there's something seriously wrong inside me and I'm going to die (my theory)

Any thoughts would be welcome...

And so because of all the tummy aching and worrying, my TOM hasn't had the decencey to show it's face. Or, at least, I'm *hoping* that it's because I'm not feeling well. I am currently 3/4 days late and counting. Although my ovary is starting to smart, so that's a good sign.

Other than these minor worries, holiday was fantastic! Top Cat loved it, and said he would love to go back again. I was so worried in case he didn't like our second home but he loved it. Though because I'll be going to Camp America next year and because of Uni and ties in Cyprus, it'll be another 2 years before I go back. *sob*

I'm considering weighing myself tomorrow, though with my body feeling as screwed up as it is, I think I'll wait 'til Friday, though there'll be a crazy mix of holiday and water weight there. In theory...

OK, time to start getting back into gear. I'll be seeing you all around. I've missed you all loads! Can't wait to see you all!

Bronsk

okay, I'm pretty sure we can rule out option C!!!! But I would still pay very close attention to any signs your body gives you because passing out is not cool.

Glad you had another fun vacation and welcome home!!!

HMMM Late TOM, feeling sick to your stomach and fainting. Well, I can think of a time when I felt very similar and 9 months later I produced a rather large item ......offspring! Not to say you are, but did you take a test? I mean it could be all the excitement of travel, or maybe the stomach bug. BUt hey...stranger things have happened (lol nervously)!

OMG!!!! I didn't even think of that. Will be on pins and needles awaiting Bronski's reply!

Erm... sadly yes, I'd already considered that possibility. It would be bitterly cruel and unfair if I was preggers, as Top Cat and I are extremely safe; far safer than most. Some of my friends have messed around totally unprotected, and not even had an inkling of pregnancy.

Like I said, late TOM is more than likely because I've been unwell, then once I was late, I started to worry and that can really affect TOMs as well. Haha, you can tell I'm nervous because I'm making all these excuses :D

Well, I'm feeling better now. I've walked around the village doing shopping (always makes me feel good :p) and cooked lunch for my brother and myself. So feel a bit brighter, and there's no tummy aches. All good signs.

Had fantastic fun experimenting with the Spicy Tuna Burger recipe. It didn't work *exactly* but someone suggested a seasoned flour mix to put on the outside as a coating. He said it would be fine to bake, but flour on the outside... doesn't really bake... I also used shallot onions and sweet thai sauce instead of the usual, which was really gorgous! Can't wait to experiment with them again.

So far, after cereal, flavoured water, tuna burgers and yoghurt, I'm at 517. I've got soup for tea (105) which I may have with a piece of bread (110) which bulks out more at 732. A little less, but don't feel particulary hungry, and I need to tone down after the indulgent week...

Thanks for stopping by, gang!
