Good morning everyone! Thanks Scarlett and Mrs B for the send off
And I've missed you loads too Mrs B *hugs*
Cyprus was incredible, but it was felt so much longer than it was. I feel like I've been away for months, which is probably helped with the 34 new emails in my inbox
Best thing I did in Cyprus... wait for it... SCUBA DIVING
Absolutely amazing! Cypriat waters are so clear, and full of loads of exotic fishies! When we dig out the photos, I'll post up some. It was incredible though, a bit freaky at first, kind of unnatural.
Had some excitement while filling out the medical forms! I had to answer yes to 2 of the medical questions, how fun is that! Both were about ears; ear disease and hearing loss, and operations on ears. I lost 75% of my hearing as a youngster, and whilst growing up had copious operations and even burst my ear drum. It wasn't as painful as people claim
My hearing's pretty much OK now, but sensitive with pressure. Took me ages to go deeper
Dad proposed to girlfriend on the first night there. It was planned (unromantic sod) so it'll surprised no one that she said yes. I now have a step family. Fun.
Flights were OK, I was really nervous on the way out, but once we'd taken off, I was just plain bored. The way back I got a seat next to a stranger, who chatted to me, which was nice. We even got turbulance on the way back, which livened things up a bit. Didn't like it that much though...
Because there were more refugees brought in from Lebenon yesterday morning, our flight was delayed by over 2 hours. Didn't get home home until gone midnighte, hence not messageing then.
In other news, I weighed myself this morning, and have dropped to 87.4! That's just over a pound lost! We didn't eat a lot in the day time, and we did a lot of swimming as well. The worst night was in Ayia Napa, where we had "tea" at 3 AM
Right, just got time to catch up with everyone before driving lesson.
I've missed everyone so much! It's great to be home!
