Ha, I am not sure if your serious or not but that might just work..! haha, make for an extra big crash after my workout, but at least I would only be golfing or playing video games then... not deadlifting.. ha.

Oiy, yesterdays workout..................sucked.

I have some tendonitis that started in my left arm and it got in the way of my shoulder day a lot! argh!

I wanted to start with cleans but after the first set I could tell that the "dismount" at the top of the clean was really irrating the tendonitis... so I only did one warm up set and that was it for those, then I went on to do some external rotations for a warm up.. and then..

Military Press:
95 X 7
110 X 3.... hmph
95 X 8
95 X 9

Arnold press (never tried these before... my friend suggested it instead of shoulder press)
30 X 10
35 X 10

Then I was feeling it in my forearms where my tendonitis is, so I went back to standard seated shoulder press
60 X 7
55 X 11

Side lateral raises
12.5 X 10 X 5

Yeah, I use to do these with 20's no problem but it was hurting that part of my forearm! argh! I just wanted to recover from that as quickly as possible so I didn't push myself.

hmph, yeah these were putting pressure on my forearm too, specially while using 100 pd dumbells... so I lowered the weight.

Yeah, like I said this workout sucked :( I have been icing that area nightly and I hope it goes away very soon I hate being injured! Damnit!

Yeah, I got the tendonitis from doing barbell bicep curls with too wide of grip and yeah... improper form.

if the spinach thing is talking about popeye I use to love that show as a kid.. haha. He was my idol for real. I've always wanted to be strong ever since I could remember...

So yeah, I demanded my mom to feed me spinach back when I was a kid sometimes...

One time my cousins were over, a couple girls that are 5 and 2 years older than me. I was like five or so, and I asked my mom to feed me spinach... after I ate it I thought it made me all strong like popeye and I ran around the house chasing them with my arms flailing... they ran away while laughing at my redicilious act...

I feel like I have told this story here before.......deja vu.

Rediculous, I see nothing rediculous.

Depends on perception.

Simplicity with a child is such a wonderful thing, and tends to get all complex when we mature.

What I see is the absolute POWER of one's individual mind at work.

A belief and a reaction of motivation from this base belief. Its shows that if one believes in something strong enough one will perform acts in accordance with this belief.



I embraced this with my children with the exception of shuttling a displacement of thought processes to channel these types of beliefs in realities of living life in the REAL WORLD.

Belief. Is so powerful and under rated.

16 inch arms!

Another milestone in my life yesterday! I measured my arm at 16 inches! It's never been that big before and I am starting to get more vascular in my arms as well.

Here is a pic..

Now I am on the road to 17!

I am still doing the original STS program that I started this journal with Phate.. I completed one full cycle now I started another one. I changed up a couple lifts and added some things, but it's basically still the same.

Oh, and yep i'm bulking still, about 185 pounds now.

After my workout I went to a buffet with my ma, pa, and grandparents... it was a steak buffet, and I ate like a freaking beast.

I started off with a large salad and ordered two chicken breasts to go with it... had all the fixings on there.

Then I went on to a philly steak sandwich... it was delicious but totally unhealthy... ha.

Then I went on to a hamburger.. mmmm....

THEN I went and got a plate full of vegetables and a steak.

THENNNNNNN I had some watermelon and pineapple for dessert.

I have a theory... well plenty of them, but one of them is that post workout, at least if it was a big hard workout, you can eat whatever the F you want and you won't put on fat, it all just goes to recovery... so with that theory in mind I ate like a monster.. and I loved it. Gotta love bulking!

Yesterday's workout was really good... could have never done it without a spotter though. It's been pretty tough to gain any weight this summer. I lift right after work and then I play nine holes of golf just about every day. I bet my maintance calories is about 4,000.

Today I brought about 10 oz of steak, 10 oz of chicken, a turkey sandwich, a banana, my pre workout cereal (carbs), and a 3 scoop whey protein shake.

I still don't think that will be enough food to gain any weight. I am starting to think that I am just going to cut for the rest of the summer and get rid of some of this fat that I gained. Bulking is way easier in the winter cuz all I do is sit on my ass when I am not lifting.

I could just start going to that steak buffet 3 times per day or so... haha.
